The Kodak Center ruined my New Years Eve. I bought a $12 beer at the Moe concert last night during the second set. I sat down for about 10 minutes to watch the rest of the set. At intermission I went to the cafeteria with my husband and was sitting at a table. A guy dressed in black with no other uniform came up to me and said I was cut off. He showed me a picture of me ordering the beer which was frankly creepy. He then grabbed my beer out of my hand and I tried to grab it back. He told me to leave the premises. I told him no and quietly went back to my seat without the beer. Two uniformed men then dragged me out of the venue. I am 64 yrs old and I go to multiple concerts. I was tired from being sick and I limp because of a foot problem so maybe that was what the creepy picture was about. I have never been treated so bad at a venue in my entire life. I shed multiple tears and I spent a lot of money including an uber and a hotel since I live out of town.

Great venue for music. Do the VIP if you can. You won't be disappointed

I was so impressed that every Kodak theater employee went BEYOND the job requirements when dealing with me and my special needs son. From security to the ushers, everyone could identify that he has sensory issues and they each had multiple options for us to try instead of us leaving early. We made it through the show. As a parent I cannot thank you enough for how accommodating everyone was.

Caught Zach Williams preform this past weekend. Nice venue, which was well-staffed with many Ushers, in-house Security, and Police both inside and outside the theater. Facilities were a little dated, but timeless and adequate. Probably better to catch stand-up here versus a concert due to the seating. Parking across the street was $10 cash only and the lot was 95% full.

9/21/23. Absolutely fantastic show by Aussie Floyd in the true Pink Floyd fashion as they played their entire rendition of Dark Side of the Moon. Best show of the year so far. The theater is great, the people are kind and courteous, reasonable selections at the concession stands. Would definitely recommend the theater.

5 stars for the main theater. -5 for the smaller theater in the basement level. Not only is there zero cellular signal which means my medical devices have the potential of being unusable if I'm in an emergency situation, or I have PTSD triggers I need to deal with using apps and step out in the hall for a moment, but the guest wifi requires a Kodak user login. That is ridiculous. It's not too big an expectation to expect a venue in 2023 to have full wifi coverage for all visitors... period. No logins. Let people use it who need it. You can't tell me you can't do that. It's typical Kodak. Stuck in the stone ages. The small theater though, it's hot, the sound is the worst I've ever heard in a theater experience. It's unclear, outdated, every seat is a bad seat, and overall it's just a space that needs a full on renovation. It's also hot as hades inside of it. I get that it was made for showing films, but at the end of the day again it's 2023. Renovate and upkeep stuff. Put money into the place instead of the CEOs pockets. This has the potential to be a state of the art facilityIt is not that yet. Not even close. The bones are there, but it needs some prosthetics to really get it up to par and don't cheap out. Honestly though, Kodak is all about movies ... Have set designers create facade work for these spaces that works out well. The main theater is surprisingly nice the way it is though inside. Well kept and has a nice color pallette and streamlined art deco style.

Went to see the Kodak Visitor Center which is free to view and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of Kodak history spread throughout the floor. It’s a quick little visit in Rochester if you are around and want to see some cool treasures and failures of the Kodak company. One major disappointment was seeing the Kodak store with awesome Kodak merchandise closed and not having a plan to reopen. The store has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic and it is now mid 2023. A bit upsetting and disappointing but not much more you can expect. Hope they reopen soon and let me know when haha.

The security at the concert was just plain rude! They couldn't help but make offensive comments all the time, thinking nobody would hear them. But trust me, their words were loud and obnoxious. We ended up getting to the concert late, and one of the security guys decided to start bashing us to his colleague without even knowing why we were late. He was so mad that he had to do his job instead of sitting around. And as if that wasn't enough, another security guard took it upon themselves to criticize us for waiting for our veteran friend before going to buy some merch. They had no clue about our situation, but they still felt the need to be loud and rude and even refused to let us join the long line to buy our stuff.Oh, and don't even get me started on the elevator doormen. Seriously, they were totally unnecessary! I mean, come on, pressing a button for three whole floors? Talk about outdated and pointless. I felt bad for those poor guys having to do that for hours. Now, it's not all bad. I gotta give credit where it's due. The refreshment staff were actually pretty nice, and they had sanitary napkins and tampons in the bathroom, which was a thoughtful touch. And hey, I can't deny that the theater had awesome acoustics. So, those three things saved them from a one-star rating. But honestly, unless they change their staff or learn that not everyone's situation is perfect, I don't think any other musicians should bother playing there.

Show started at 8pm, but they didn't let you go in until 8pm. My mother-in-law, who needed to use the handicapped entrance, had to stand for 20 minutes till that entrance opened. I'm not sure what the hold up was, but at least let the handicapped people in so they don't have to stand or lean against the wall for so long.No intermission, so we got up at 9:40 to get my daughter a hot pretzel. To our disappointment, all the concessions were closed down and cleaned up. Why?Show ended at 10pm, and we were out of there. The pluses are: lots of parking across the street, police are there to stop the traffic so you can safely cross the street, security does a purse check and metal scan, every staff member was pleasant, clean bathrooms, nice theatre, and Ridge Road is lit up well. The minus two stars are because of my top two complaints. Also, you may want to have a mask or two handy as seats are cramped, and if the guy next to you smells like cigars, booze, and cheap aftershave, you will wish you had one.

We saw the band America at the Kodak Center. The seats were comfortable and the concession vendors had reasonable prices. The cost for parking was $10.00 for the lot across the road, or $20.00 for the lot next to the facility. We opted for the $20.00 parking.
