Negative experience. Don't recommend it for inspection . He doesn't respect the appointment and keep change it. If you fix your car out side his shop he becomes upset.

I was in a pinch when my car battery died as I was leaving work to get lunch. I had a jump available to start my car, but needed a shop to install a new one for me. I spoke with the owner & he had me come right over. I was right back on my way soon after arriving. Thanks, Meineke!

The math being done on a calculator at this place does not match their final invoice amounts. There is a difference of 26% between my final invoice and what was charged to my credit card. 8% is the combined tax rate for New York State and Monroe County.

To start off, this place is disgusting. There are plastic bags covering the front window and when you walk in there are mountains of paper and books all stained yellow. He had a hard time finding the appointment I booked online and then refused to do a synthetic blend oil change with my recommended oil. This is a service I have had done before at a different meineke and received wonderful service from. However, this location I cannot say the same for.

I never leave reviews but I am so infuriated by this shop. I had made an appointment here and showed up early because my check engine light had come on and my car was overheating. Upon arriving and speaking with the man at the front desk he told me to go to a dealership because they can't fix this kind of thing and the dealership would know if my car has a history of this. I've never known a mechanic to turn away business or really anywhere to turn away business, but THEY'RE AN AUTO REPAIR SHOP WHO CANT FIX AUTOS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. If I could give them a lower rating I would. Go down the street to Austin-Spencer they were able to get me in right away.

I have been to this location twice. I usually use a mechanic in Penfield for most of my auto work but with the proximity to work, I have come here for repairs to tires and oil changes. The first visit was adequate with an oil change and the patching of a tire that had gotten a nail embedded. The second time is quite a different story. I had dropped my car off for yet again another slow leak in one of my tires. I get a phone call from the mechanic stating that he lost my car key and that I must have not left it with him when I most certainly did. come to find out he, or some other worker, had pulled the piece of paper that it was on and the key had fallen to the ground behind the counter and they couldn't find it. With a significant piece of information being this counter is covered with paperwork and phone books so I can see where a key could easily go missing. This threw me into an expected tizzy as it took until I got back over to the shop, on the phone for 5 minutes with him stating that I did not leave the key with him for him to finally find it. Not conducive to a pleasurable experience.

If I could give a lower star than 1, I would. I made an appointment on October 4th, 2017 at 1:30pm for 5:30pm that day. I got an e-mail confirming this appointment. I chose this location because I am a grubhub driver & we get discounts for oil changes through this company, so I figured I would give it a shot. I arrived at the location at 5:15 which was across town to begin with. The location was closed. it was dark, no lights were on, and no one was there. The sign with the location hours on the door said they would be open until 6pm - again, no one was there. There was no sign on the door explaining why they were closed. SO I called corporate customer service who told me they would look into it and get back to me within 48 hours. I never reiceved a call back, so I called the next day to discuss the matter. I was hung up on **** 6 TIMES WHEN ASKING FOR A SUPERVISOR **** AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING 6 TIMES I WAS HUNG UP ON. Then I finally spoke to a supervisor named mark who listened to my concerns and finally told me that he would call the location's owner and I would get a call back within 10 minutes. Never got a call back. Then today, October 12th, I get a call from a woman named Kathryn at Corporate who states she is following up on my complaint - 7 WHOLE DAYS LATER ????????????????????? Who also was rude and said there was nothing she could do for me. Which leaves me to give such a horrid review.
I've worked in customer service for almost 10 years and I have never ever EVER experienced anything like this. The service I received from this company was terrible and I don't recommend anyone using this location. I never even received a call from the owner to discuss my concerns and was told that the location "had closed early on October 4th due to an emergency" and that " the location is having problems with their online appointments not notifying them correctly " - why does that become my problem ???? I will never be using this company again. So unprofessional, rude, and altogether BAD BUSINESS !!!!!

This place is overly priced. They charge more than they should and they try to convince you that you got the good deal. You will still get your car back with a lack of wash fluid warning light on while you just paid hundred bucks fixing a minor issue. The good thing is they are always not busy so you can get them start working on your car without waiting. Not recommended.

They took care of us immediately on a Saturday without an appointment and without giving us a hard time about it. No playing games or sticking us with services and parts that weren't needed. Took care of our brakes with new pads and rotors in 2 hours. Wouldn't pass us for inspection because of shocks and suggested that we fix it ourselves instead of paying them $250 to do it, then bring it back. Very honest and upfront. Will definitely return!

Not such a great job on my brakes. I went around town and got a few different quotes for a brake job on my truck and most shops were pretty pricey ($700-800 - ish). Took it in to Meineke and the counter asked me the year and make and said he would do it parts and labor under $500. Had the truck for the better part of nine hours. I finally called in when they didn't notify me and they said it was ready to go. The gave the truck back with an ABS indicator on but said I should be happy b/c I got the "deal of the century" b/c they had to disassemble the hubs to put new rotors on. Said it was b/c of rust and that I would have to buy new hubs to fix it. Went back a few times to try to get them to find another solution but they wouldn't. Guess it wasn't their typical brake job and they weren't willing to do any more problem solving. Probably won't go back again. Mac's II seems more reputable.
