These folks are great. Fit me in for an inspection same-day and installed my partner’s registration sticker when I came back with his car later that week without me even asking. They are prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

These days I can’t trust them because I get dinged on a ton of stuff when I go to get simple routine maintenance or an inspection. They take any of your visits not to do everything in the best possible way for your car and your pocket, but as an opportunity. And you're lucky if they didn't screw something up. Also, do not be surprised when they try to convince you to replace something they've already fixed not long ago. I'm giving the business that many stars just because in the past their services could be trusted much more.

If you cannot avoid this place, at least take a knowledgeable fellow with you, as my friend did. You know, rejecting their offers will not only fail the inspection, but can also be dangerous for your vehicle when it is already in their hands. Ted is an amazing storyteller. He is really good to make up stories about non-existent problems of your car and kindly explain how it gotta be fixed. The only problem is you’ll have to pay a lot for every word of his fabrications. And (when caught) his clumsy allusion to how difficult it is for them to survive these days just sucks. This is a challenging time for everyone, whereas we are customers, not charitable organizations. We, too, have to count every dollar, and not waste hundreds for jobs that our car absolutely does not need.

Very unprofessional and dishonest. They broke both seals on rear struts and later said they had nothing to do with it. The damage was obvious right after I picked the car up. The car definitely handled poorly and was riding very bumpy. The strut assembly repair needed after their “service” was fairly expensive. To settle this incident to my satisfaction, I had to contact BBB.I’m still wondering how they got to looking at the struts in the back. There is no rational explanation for this. Be careful with them, or better yet, find a better garage.

Metro Tire has been my go-to auto service center for over 30 years. They get the diagnosis right, they are honest, and they are courteous and responsive. They've kept a lot of my old, beat-up second cars going over the years, but have always been upfront about explaining the options and telling me when a repair just isn't worth doing.

I am so happy that I discovered Metro Tire. Ted is a lifesaver! He is very knowledgeable and has a great team. I have been there twice within the past two months with last minute requests and service has been quick and efficient.
