So disappointed this location switched to self check-out. Why should I have to take the time to figure out how to use their system, when there is a cashier just standing there watching me? Why can't they just cash me out? When I go into a store, I want the in-store experience with service from actual humans. If your store is going to turn into a dysoptian hellscape, then why shouldn't I just order from Amazon? Then at least I can stay home. Do better!

Just stopped in to pick something up (I am not a regular customer) and it was a positive experience. Associate, Francine, was friendly, professional, helpful. She definitely represents this store wonderfully!

Many of the staff are great, with a few real stars that will do anything to help you and in the friendliest manner. Someone needs to pull aside the tall bulldog of a store manager (evening?) though. Her version of customer service is so aggressive it made me seriously uncomfortable and I felt so sorry for the extremely kind and skilled staff member that the manager barked at to immediately come over and assist me (I wasn't even ready yet, lady, go take a break). The manager made me so uncomfortable and embarrassing for both of us. I couldn't believe how this manager treated her staff, inexcusable in front of a customer or behind closed doors. I quickly left the store feeling very uncomfortable.

Very disappointed with the service at this Michaels… I purchased some brown dye and followed the directions to the letter. It turned my $75 chair cushions bright pink. I brought the cushion cover & the dye bottle back for a refund for just the cost of the dye. I was rudely informed by the manager that he would not give me any money back even though the dye “was incorrect” he stated. Any other store would have given a refund for a flawed product.
I am updating this post to add that Michaels online customer service issued a refund for the flawed product. Apparently it’s just the service at this store that stinks.

They're carrying a small stock of fabric by the yard! It's nice quality and the price is very reasonable. I hope they will increase it and add it to the other stores. We need some competition and more choice.

Their custom framing is superb, staff in that department are passionate about taking mundane pieces and transforming them into unique works of art that just monopolize your attention.
They took a cheap painting from Belize and transformed it into a bright beautiful object that brings me back to the ocean front as soon as I see it each morning.

Arts and crafts with a few office supplies. Same as the rest of the chains stores. Self checkout is not intuitive. Feels institutional inside.

I visited this location with my girlfriends to pick out some picture frames, and the experience was very good. I don't have an eye for such things but there was a cheerful young man in the custom framing department who was more than willing to spend time helping us find the perfect fit. In the end there wasn't a frame to fit one of our photos but we ended up picking out a boarder to fill in the empty space and it came out looking great. Amazing service, I can highly recommend the framing team to anyone who needs help with their photos!
