Horrible experience at this downtown location I had my card and wallet stolen while I was in the hospital getting surgery which means I did loose my id and had my expired permit whoch they made in exception the first time i pulled money now I went to get money out one time and then had to go back to pull another twenty the women serving me treated me such disrespect asking my me what I did with the money I pulled out last time in such a rude manner I feel a question like that should never be asked by bank staff waring rd will forever be my branch there staff are extremely friendly that I would rather take a longer drive then to be treated badly the woman serving me should be written up or let go people in the whole bank should not know my whole financial business

For over a month I’ve been trying to get my secured credit card mailed from these guys since I moved out of state and not in a state that have M&T. I asked them over the phone if I can get the card sent to my new address and they told me to come in to the closest branch to me which was in Virginia which is 2 states over from me and a car ride of almost 3 hours. I went inside the bank and brought a piece of mail of my current address like they told me in order to have my cards sent to me new address. I told the lady at the branch to re-order my secured credit card and also a new debit card which I lost a few days prior going to the branch.I received my new debit card but not my secured credit card. I gave it two more days because I was thinking they were probably sent separate. I get a call last night on 9/16/2020 and my uncle tells me that my new credit card from M&T came to the house which was my previous address. Now today comes which is 9/17/2020, I call frustrated because like I said I drove almost 3 hours to get this taken care of and it didn’t work out. I called this branch at 9:29 AM and some old lady picks up and I explained to her the situation and that I have never seen my secured credit card yet. I also mentioned how I wasn’t upset at her but I was at the representative in VA. The old sagg lady at this branch seems like she didn’t want to help me and had an attitude. She told me that my secured credit card was on the way and it was going to take 5-7 business days to come. Now me being upset like anyone else would because I been waiting over a month and the travel I made. I told her can they do like a least a 2 day shipping for the company employees messing up on their end. The old sagg got loud with me and said “It wasn’t me that sent it to your old address so don’t be mad at me” I told her “I never said it was you and that it was the VA employee which I mentioned from the start.” She then tells me a lie and says that nobody sent my secured credit card to my old address but she doesn’t know that my uncle told me it came yesterday. So I let her know that it did and she ain’t had to lie because who else would send it that’s outside M&T. Not a big fan of liars btw. I told her to talk to a higher up to get faster shipping for my card and she was able to do so but I didn’t like how she told me I should’ve just went back to the VA brach. That was very rude and unprofessional of her, M&T you guys need to do better with employees or you’re going to go out sad. I never left a review for any company well here’s my first, I felt the need to do so.

M&T is the worst bank I have EVER worked with, and I strongly advise you to keep your money literally anywhere else. Their Customer Service is atrocious, they offer little to no assistance during difficult times, and they are just massively incompetent in executing the basic tasks of their job.Please, whatever you do, DO NOT BANK WITH M&T!!!!!!!!!

Good place where to do banking. The staff is friendly, but not very attentive with the Elderly. I don't know about other branches, but in this particular office their staff is not very personal with customers. They provide a good service overall.
