I normally go to PetSmart for my dog’s grooming, unfortunately this time around the experience was bad. Heather in grooming, customer service skills were not up to par. After my dog made an accident in the building she looks shocked and upset. She was trying to find every way possible to decline my dog. I just explained if my dog is going to be a problem I’ll take him elsewhere. They ended up taking him but it was an hassle this time around.
I’m going to find another place next time around.

WHAT I ASKED FOR VS. WHAT I GOT:
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GROOMER, DO NOT GO TO THIS PETSMART UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DOG WALKING OUT LOOKING LIKE A CRACKHEAD.
Upon arrival, I heard a bunch of commotion coming from the back which was dogs barking hysterically, crying, and whining .
The fact I brought her in at 3:10pm and they called me to tell me she’s ready at 6:30pm just for this HACK JOB is ridiculous. And the fact they charged me $70! Unbelievable. I even showed them pictures of what type of look I was going for. It looks like they were just cutting any and everywhere!
If you want a real good groomer, go to Pooch Perfect !

I use the bandfield Pet Hospital through petsmart in Henrietta, and the staff is fantastic and always does a great job with my dogs. The store is always very clean and well stocked.

This organization is making it more difficult to get the food that my cat is prescribed by forcing the physical card to be held when purchasing it, and by making it such that I need a prescription for each variant of the same prescription type food I want to purchase. If I want the treats with the same cd label as the food my cat is prescribed, I need another appointment with the vet to get it on the card. Then if my spouse wants to pick the cats food up on the way home they hassle them for not having the card even though they have a picture of the card with the prescription number. They act as though prescription food is a controlled substance. I'm very frustrated with the new policies. I wonder why it isn't treated like in Canada where you can buy it from any vet without a prescription. Please fix this. If it's a regulatory issue, can the business explain what law is making this the case, otherwise there's a business opportunity for competitors to make access to their pet's food much easier.

I was looking around the store for something specific that said it was there. I had to ask a staff member and she said it was locked up because of a theft issue. She was super helpful but there should have been a sign on the shelf to say that.

I order 44 lb bags of dog food and 50lb bags of cat food, I put on the delivery for them to open the storm door to pu it on the porch, I’m old and can’t lift them. Once again they put it on the steps underneath the storm door to where I can’t even open the door!

They really need to interview better before the hire. I've never been to any pet smart or any pet stor whrtr the cashiers are so unfriendly. And just need to let up . They won't make employee of the month by being so rude instead of just being plan old nice.

My two ShihTzu and Pomeranian went in for a grooming on Oct 26 2024 and came back with fleas my little one cried all night long. Had to get up soon as Walmart open to go get something to make them feel better, I called pet smart to inform them on the situation so no one else would have to go through that. The manager did offer for them to come in the next day for a flea bath.

My negative experience started with me walking in with my dog, smelling dogs everywhere he peed on the floor and the groomer immediately goes "Your dog just peed in my shop." I thought that was rude, does that not happen all day? He could've just asked me to clean it up. I would've let that slide but when I picked up my poor puppy he was covered in cuts from the clippers. I have two shihtzu's and I admit their hair isn't the best but in 16+ years of getting my dogs groomed I have NEVER had them covered in cuts. My dogs neck was cut, his ears were cut, it was obviously a rushed job where they didn't mind if they knicked the dog. They also told me he had fleas under his hair. My dog is an indoor dog and doesn't spend time around other animals, how did he get fleas? I checked him for bites or evidence of fleas and found none. Seems like they thought they could get away with it and tacked on another charge. His last groom was probably three months before, I'd taken him elsewhere and he had no cuts, nothing was said about fleas, or my dog pissing in the shop.

During the call, I inquired if I could use my daughter's phone number as a reference, as the dog is registered under her account. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with abruptly hung up the phone without any explanation. This behavior struck me as unprofessional and disrespectful, which has led me to reconsider doing business with your establishment in the future.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe this situation could have been handled more courteously. I hope you will take steps to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
