Guess I can't give no stars so will give 1 star. My daughter rented this storage unit for the summer as she goes to RU and when she moved in they were happy to charge us a prorated amount for the few days at the end of the month of May. Now they have moved out before Sept 1st and have given notice of moving out but the last person leaving put the lock back on an empty locker. We have been charged an extra month full price and my daughter will get the lock off today 9-2. I called to explain the situation and that since they can prorate at the beginning of the rental there should be no reason they cannot prorate for the 2 days but sorry that is not our policy!! Person on the phone cannot be reasonable but to say that is our policy and since I am not on the account even though it is on my credit card I cannot submit a request. Basically the guy on the phone cannot do anything but submit a request to the owner but doubt it would be changed because this is the policy that you will be charged a full month. Great customer service I think not!!

The access was changed and they didn't want to give me the code I couldn't not access my stuff so I had to call the police after they started avoiding my calls

Agree with all reviews calling this place a scam. I was told that I would be able to move in on a relatively tight timeline, but was given a faulty door code. No one was available to talk to at the time, and I ended up not being able to use the unit, though I had paid for a month and a half. I spoke with multiple representatives multiple times, was told that a manager or owner would need to approve a refund, and that I would need to wait for their call. I have not received a call or a refund, and it has been two weeks.

This place is a scam. Talked to this guy David and he said that I need my own lock for a 5X7 storage. After I paid and never got a code to gain access, he say it was for a parking spot. I should have known they was a scam cause they requested a social security number

The building is disgusting, there’s dirt and nastiness everywhere, I almost didn’t store my stuff here. CLEAN THE BUILDING. There’s not many ways you can mess up selling a service like storage but yet they did. It looks horrible in there.

Other then the code changing 3 times, Brogen the guy on the phone was nice and caring

The building is clean; however, sometimes people do have financial issues... imagine that ?. I had a financial situation, the end results were very helpful. However, in between jobs... leaving one, starting a new job, I didn't have the finances to pay the bill. So I get an email with the "article" information. This is not necessary! This will be my last month of usage with this company. If I ever need storage again it will not be with River Campus Storage!

SIMPLY PUT, DISHONEST PEOPLE! I set up an account with them on June 15th and I knew I would take my stuff out of storage in the first two weeks of July. I told the sales person on the phone that I wanted to pay a pro-rata rate for the month of July, and she said no problem. On my contract, on the first page, it said explicitly: "$92.00 Monthly Rent (Due on the monthly anniversary date of the date of this agreement)". On the first week of July they sent me a bill to pay upfront for the full month, which I of course didn't pay. A couple of days later they placed a lockout on my unit and added an extra $20.00 for a lockout fee. I called them to solve the problem and there was not agreement. First of all, they were not willing to understand what was happening. They refused to believe that there was a contract with such clause. Then, the lady on the phone simply said "The owner apologizes for the inconvenience, the contract is wrong, and you will have to pay". End of story. I thought: How can a contract you wrote yourself can be wrong? I couldn't believe that she was saying that to me! She insisted in saying that "the owner wouldn't accept this", or "the owner said this or that". The owner of the business decides how much you will pay, regardless of the contract THEY WROTE IN THE FIRST PLACE! it doesn't matter what the contract they signed with you says, what matters is what the owners says. They didn't honor their own contract and if I wanted my stuff out I would have to appeal in court. Moreover, they don't send PDFs of the rental agreements--its available through a link that connects to their website. I went to the link and THEY CHANGED THE CONTRACT!!! Unbelievable! Just the lowest kind of people would do that. Unfortunately for them, I have screen shot of the agreement I signed, which says exactly what we agreed upon. I sent them the screen shot of the contract and they insisted: "the contract doesn't matter, what matters is what the owner says". A business that treats its customers like that and even further, doesn't live up to the contracts it writes itself is doomed to go bankrupt! And I hope they do! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Put your stuff somewhere else.

Very nice, understanding guys who work here. Place is clean and new. I use auto billing--couldn't be easier. They prorate a partial month. Would be 5 stars but FYI, there is no elevator to the upper floor.
