I REALLY wish I could write a better review for our experience because I don't normally take the time to write reviews and would prefer to be positive rather than negative when I do. That being said, I think it's important to share our experience so folks are at least aware of what MAY be their experience. We originally went with this company because of an offer we saw in a newspaper ad regarding a sale they had going at the time. The store appeared a bit dated (I know it's been there a while) but the salesman was very friendly and connected us up with laminate flooring we liked the look and price of. The installers were quiet and professional and we were initially pleased with what we saw. Over the course of a relatively short period of time, however we noticed areas where the workmanship and quality weren't quite up to snuff (something that was verified by representatives of the store AND manufacturer that they sent to our home). After several months of back and forth dialogue, they eventually honored their policy of replacing the flooring if we were not completely satisfied with what we had. To their credit, they did follow through on that and provided us with new flooring that was a level up from what we previously had and installed it at no additional cost to us. Though it was painful to get to that point, they DID honor their guarantee and we appreciated it. Sadly, we again found some issues with boards not quite being cut to the proper length to reach the walls (resulting in slight gaps in some areas) and, more significantly, a spot in our floor where the boards are pulling apart from each other (though I believe they're supposed to be interlocked). We again have had reps from the company come to look at the floor and have agreement that it's not as it should be. At this point, they're offering to fix the issues for around $800 labor but we're not sure we're going to have something we're ultimately going to be very happy with (based on our past couple experiences). We're not sure what we're going to do now. So I guess my advice is that if all of that is something you're willing to deal with then you can roll the dice and hope things work out better for you.Again, it brought me no pleasure to write this review but I think people should go in with their eyes open before dealing with this company.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled. We had cabinets and a countertop installed. After meeting with Brendan, we chose to work with Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath because I was told they do not use contractors and do their own work. This was a lie. They use contractors. During the entire time they were working on our kitchen, we had a total of 4 different contractors at our house with only 1 who was fluent in English. Several did not speak English at all which posed for a huge language barrier when there was a problem to discuss. Ebenezer was our project manager and 100% unprofessional, harassing, rude, inappropriate, and demeaning when he actually decided to manage the project. I had to ask him to leave my house the 1 and only time he came. This project which should have been "simple" was a mess from the start. I had to send numerous emails finally reaching to the VP David, who was able to get the project completed in a timely manner. Remodeling any part of your house is stressful, Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath made it even worse. I would not recommend anyone to deal with there type of unprofessionalism and bullying. You should never feel uncomfortable in your own house when you have workers present.

We just completed a total renovation of an industrial/ commercial space to make into modern office space. Many thanks to Rochester Flooring for guiding us through the process - in particular we want to thank Jason - our installer - who made some great calls early on to help us achieve the look and feel we were going for - and who spent hours leveling, prepping, and perfecting our old, stained, gross concrete sub-floor to get it ready for luxury vinyl plank- the finished product was beyond what we expected and it has changed the whole feel of the building! Thank you Jason & Rochester Flooring!

My husband and I recently had our kitchen remodeled. We purchased a "fixer upper" a few years ago and were ready for a change. We had contacted a few contractors before visiting Rochester Flooring Kitchen and Bath. It wasn't the easiest project as we were having a wall removed and were also on a budget. Brendan and his crew were both professional and responded to any concerns I had in a timely manner. There were a few unexpected surprises, as there are in any project. Brendan always responded to my calls, and the project team worked hard and responded to issues quickly. I am enjoying my "new" kitchen and would like to thank Brendan for his quick responses and professionalism in helping me pick out my products and keeping us within our budget!

Just completed major remodeling of new flooring and new kitchen counter, sink and backsplash. Starting with assistance at the showroom and coordinating was fantastic. Communication for dates and arrival times was extremely beneficial. Everyone from flooring installation to kitchen tiling, counter install, plumbing were amazing to work with and polite, and super clean! Will definitely do more with Rochester Flooring Kitchen and Bath. It was also a pleasure to meet Mr. Albert Pelusio.

Job was quick and everyone was kind but the project was unfinished and communication could have improved. We were told we could return unused tile but when reaching out after the project was done, we did not get a response. We have cords hanging in the basement that were left which would not pass inspection. We had to patch huge gaps that were left between the entryway and a cabinet. Hood to the stove was not vented out. We tried to reach out about problems but did not get a response. I would not recommend them at all.

The installer for the floor has gone above and beyond to make sure that our floor is level and perfect. He kept us in the loop on every detail. We would highly recommend him. Thank you Jason.

Joe has been wonderful to work with. Has answered all my questions on carpeting and the store has a good selection of quality carpets to choose from. Certainly a step up from the big box stores.

Mike was just fabulous. He was very helpful matching our cabinets to both flooring and granite. Got a great price on both and can wait to put it all together! No photos yet but coming soon.

We redid the flooring in our basement. There’s was a lot of miscommunication and errors within their team as a result halfway through we had to choose a different trim product than what we initially started with, and had to make multiple trips and calls to their store to rectify it. The flooring product has held up well over the year. I cannot say the same for the trim work. It has looked sloppy, uneven and was not glued down properly since day one. It does not look like a professional did it; a very expensive botched job.

We chose Rochester Flooring Kitchen and Bath (RFKB) due to work they did on three previous flooring projects. This project was a complete kitchen remodel. While no project is completed without some issues, RFKB addressed our concerns and provided solutions. Communication was good, although a few issues took some modest prodding to ensure work was addressed. Now that the project is complete, we absolutely LOVE our new kitchen! Our designer was Kristen. She was attentive and patient at listening to what we wanted. When we didn't know exactly what we wanted, she presented options and helped us decide on a final plan. She worked with us to finalize our project, even when our vision was slightly different than her design suggestions. This was a complete gut-and-rebuild, so we needed to select everything. When it came to appliances, RFKB provided advice on where to get the best price. All they asked for were model numbers for the refrigerator, dishwasher, and disposer unit to ensure they would fit in our chosen plan.We liked that RFKB has the granite slabs on the showroom floor. My wife and I were able to select the slab we liked. Being able to see the slab became hugely helpful when choosing flooring and tile. Kristen took the flooring and tile samples to the slab, and this helped us select what worked with the colors in the granite veining. The project was estimated to start in August. RFKB called and asked if they could start the project weeks earlier than originally projected.During the project, we requested changes, and Kristin was great at accommodating these requests. Some of these resulted in an additional charge, and we had no problem with this. RFKB is a business, and we felt the additional charges were reasonable. On one occasion, they made a minor modification without charging extra, and we appreciated that.As for the workmanship, we were very pleased with the various teams that completed the work. The project lead was Ebenezer, and he was superb to work with! Super friendly and completed work efficiently with, at times, a creative solution. The electrician was particularly impressive. This fellow (Bogdan) was running up and downstairs countless times all day long. I work from home, and when I came up later in the day, I was amazed at the quantity of work he had completed. Before he started work, he pulled me out of my office, and we spent upwards of an hour talking through all the electrical. This proved quite valuable because my wife and I had a specific vision for how the electric would work in the kitchen. This level of detail wasn't anything the designer would have been able to cover. One thing we wanted was additional receptacles on all the counters. He found ways to give us more than we wanted without adding additional costs to the project. This guy was a huge asset! The cabinet installers completed their work in a few days without any problems. Each day, they cleaned up after themselves, and at no time did we notice any excessive breaks or quitting early. They arrived on time and worked a full day, sometimes longer than I expected. Granite installation occurred a few weeks after the counters were installed, which is normal. Installation happened quickly and smoothly. They even provided a temporary makeshift sink so we could use the kitchen while waiting for the counters to be fabricated. They provided an old sink removed from a prior demolition, so it wasn't pretty, but it was functional and so appreciated! Having no running water, the kitchen would have been useless while waiting for the counters. If you're considering using RFKB for your kitchen remodel, I'd suggest visiting the showroom and working with a designer to scope your project and get a cost estimate. You'll read some reviews here of unhappy customers. Read these and decide if these complaints are a showstopper for you. We can only tell you our experience, which was very good. This is the fourth project we've had completed, and I'd have no hesitation using RFKB again for future projects.

My experience with Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath was excellent from beginning to end. I just recently had a bathroom remodel and am thrilled with the results. We finally have a bathroom we’re proud to show off. Brendan, our designer, was so personable and pleasant to work with. He made the process easy and straightforward. He kept our budget in mind throughout all the decision making and never pushed us into anything but steered us in the right direction. All the various people working on the project were very friendly and respectful of our home. They always cleaned up at days end and answered any questions or concerns we had. I definitely recommend Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath & I look forward to working with them again on future projects.
