Banks have better hours than this place. Stutzman's can't even manage to have weekend hours. I don't care how legendary of a place this is--if you don't have hours of operation why keep the business going at all?We wasted two hours of our life driving here only to find out it was closed when we go there.

This place is great and a business worth supporting. Generations of knowledge and expertise reside here where you can't get that at a big box store like guitar center with some teenager who knows how shred but no wisdom. They have great acoustic guitars here with a repair shop and they backup what they sell. Stop buying from cooperate douche bags like guitar center and support this local business!

Targets mostly too acoustic guitarists.Some basic beginner electric guitars there, might see a interesting guitar amp.Something a little bit smug about this place and the vibe they give off. They gear towards acoustic guitars and if your trying to go there for electric guitar stuff, they will act somewhat smug, with subtlety which is part of the smug.Like Bible Baptist crossed with Genesee Country Museum covered in smug.If you want to go in there and buy a expensive guitar, then there not going to be smug with you? They probably smug equally alike. If you look like a rough-ian, and want to buy a expensive acoustic guitar... going to still come off as somewhat smug probably. Kind of a purists smug vibe going on there.That being said, it's a nice smug little place.

Stutzman's Guitar Center is a great little gem in the Spencerport / Greece area. I recently had 2 acoustic guitars repaired by the excellent Luthiers there. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work as well as the overall price of the labor. I consider myself to be somewhat of a Luthier however I know when I am out of my depth. These guys have been in this industry for years and they are very good at what they do. If you are looking to purchase your 1st guitar or mandolin or bass etc... Please check this place out you won't regret it. If they don't have what you want I'm certain they can get it for you. I will be a customer until my fingers cannot play anymore. Cheers gentlemen and thanks again for the excellent repair work recently.

I brought in my favorite acoustic I bought new 30 years ago. Always thought the action was a bit high and was tough on fingers. Asked for them to see if it needed adjustment. They did a full setup and the action is amazing now and plays so much better..
