This negative review is only of Tangles nail salon. I recently went there for gel nail manicure in hopes of returning for follow up service. However, I have never been treated with such disrespect and rudeness as I was her. In an attempt to reschedule an appointment..she decided that insult, immaturity, and talking down to a customer thru multiple text messages, was the proper approach to take. The lack of professionalism and customer service was shocking. I do not recommend.

Tangles is the best place to go to in Rochester.I have Dominique do my hair and everytime it comes out perfect.They have a great staff of people.I will continue to use tangles.Thank You.Went back to tangles and had Dominique do my style haircut and it came out outstanding thank you Dominique for everything.What a wonderful place to go to and be treated very nice.I will continue to tangles this place the best place ever to go your hair needs.Always done very fast and no wait what so ever.When you go to tangles go see Dominique the stylist she will take care of you and will be happy that you did. 09/22/2022 Went to tangles to get my hair style done thank you came out perfect.

Tangles Designers & Spa makes you feel great about yourself, Nikki is great as well as her staff, everyone is so pleasant. Going there is a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much Nikki, you are great, always going above and beyond from service to products.

Hello Ive put off writing this to give time for correction. However, this is unacceptable. My mother went in for a set of Gel Extensions her tech was Shelby. This is what she left the salon with. They were lumpy, uneven, and painted to look 3 weeks grown out. After 1 day her thumb nail broke so she went back in to get it fixed. In the meantime 2 more of her nails broke. She asked Shelby to possibly repaint them or atleast clean up her cuticles to which she responded "we'll do that next time". While repairing her thumb nail she drilled a HOLE through my mother nail.(last photo) That following week my mother tried to get in touch with the owner (Nicky) and got several emails saying she would get back to her in a few days. Well, it's been several weeks with no answer. This is just completely unprofessional and my mothers natural nails are now thin and damaged because of this.

This was my first visit. I was very impressed. The salon was clean. The stylist who cut my hair (Dominique) did a fabulous job! And she was friendly and professional. She cut about 7 inches off of my hair. She transformed my long, lifeless hair into a cute inverted bob. It was exactly what I asked for. Dominique was very conscientious of what style and cut I wanted. Marla, the receprionist, is very friendly and professional as well. I would recommend the salon to anyone looking for a trim or something drastic like what i did. Also, the pricing is reasonable.

Availability is hit or miss.. Have had them cancel last minute with no backup more than once. Person we talked to was nice just not reliable enough for us. Intentions are good I am sure. Didn’t work out for us. Thanks anyways!

Really not good. We waited for over 20 minutes and no one talked to us, even though we had an appointment. After 20 minutes we politely said we would have to cancel and the hairdresser said 'okay bye.' Would not recommend.
