My first time shopping at an Ulta and it was great! I was kindly greeted within seconds of walking in, I was asked by numerous employees if I needed help. The store itself was very nice, clean, well stocked and overall a great environment. I met an incredibly nice, friendly and very kind employee named Emmanuel who helped me when I needed and chatted with me for a couple of minutes. It meant a lot since it was my first time going to an Ulta and the last time I went to a store that sold beauty products I was treated terribly and it made me never want to go back. I can’t wait to go to this Ulta again! I had my young daughter with me and they were really nice to her as well.

Why offer curbside if you’re not going to bring it to the car? At least tell me that you’re not coming out. I sat for over 15 minutes waiting, waste of time. I went inside and explained to the lady that I had been waiting there for awhile and was not given an explanation or apology, she didn’t even really acknowledge what I had said. I got my order and left. Not a good look.

Worst customer service experience. They don't enforce their photo ID policy for every customer, ie the lady in front of us, but refused to give us our order despite having the barcode, confirmation, email etc.You call to tell us we need yo pick it up, so clearly you know who we are, and then you refuse to give it to us when we actually get there. What a joke.

This morning I went to pick up online order, first the cashier could not locate it. She then asked “ manager” Tommy for help, I showed them the barcode from my email, so he then went and got the products off the shelf, great but then he would not give me my order because my order was placed using my nickname and not the name on my license. I have ordered and picked up from this store several times over the years never did a cashier stop me from picking up my order they always checked my license and handed me the items I paid for. This “man” refused to give me the order I paid for. I guess its not common knowledge for these people that sometimes people can have one name but then go by a nickname, it’s not hard to comprehend one would hope. He could have asked to see my credit card to verify if it was me because the order was placed using that card. He outright refused the order, which again I PAID FOR.

Came in to have my ears re-pierced, and the lady who did it was very nice and professional. I browsed the store a little bit after and staff on the merch floor offered assistance but I just was browsing. Scored a new hair brush which I really needed. Overall, selection is very good, shelves were well stocked and if I had more time (and if it wasn't so hot in the store) I would have browsed more. Cashier was friendly, other associates at the counter appeared more interested in being on their phones though - one lady looked particularly like she didn't want to be there though. Given some other reviews, I'm getting a sense that is the status quo for some of the associates.

Came in on my birthday for a fun splurge. I wasn’t greeted by a single associate, but the manager followed me around the store for a full twenty minutes until I was on the verge of tears. I dropped my basket of products and left. If you’re going to treat your customers like thieves, don’t expect sales.

if you are planning on getting your hair done here you should definitely ask for Brie(if I'm butchering her name I apologize. I just don't remember how it was spelt). she colored my hair for me and it looks gorgeous and feels so soft too!. I don't know what she did to my hair,but I can't stop looking at and touching it

Leaving a one star review for the salon because I paid $52 for a "signature cut" when I thought I was getting a trim. Just really overpriced for the service I received. My mom's hair hardly looked any different from when we walked in. Her hair was really short to start, above the shoulder, she wanted a bob for some style. What we got was a trim of the same shape. I showed the stylist pictures of what we wanted and it didn't turn out looking like that at all. I had tried to debate the price but was told that's the base price. I was quoted $30-$52 on the phone. Either way I would have been okay with the price if it was a great haircut but really it just looks bad.

i like their products online so i figured i would try shopping in store to skip the wait for shipping but i lasted about two minutes before i left without buying anything. not only is the smell completely overwhelming and nauseating if you're in the slightest bit sensitive to fragrance, the music is so loud that if you any difficult processing sensory experiences this is a place of mental and physical torture. i don't know how people shop here much less work here
