Not the best location..... but it's big and carries all the necessities when wegmans doesn't, especially during Covid-19. They also have a hidden clearance area located at the end of the diaper isle. Oh, don't forget to check out their fish fry dinner. Not bad for $9.99!

There are many reasons why I can complain about Tops but their carry out cafe and bakery are something I truly enjoy. They have a fish fry for $8.99 and a captains platter for $9.99 during lent season. Prices might be a little different outside of this season. The captains platter comes with scallops and shrimp and a half of fish and for $1 more this is always my go to choice. You can also check out in the back. In and out. While their check out their breakfast pizza. This is my go to place for breakfast pizza. It's great warm, cold and a few days later. Tops really does have a great fish fry and I believe they have it all year long. Dont quote me on that. It comes with two sides but I will not name them since many have slipped my mind. Despite my love/hate relationship I will never forget about their carry out cafe and bakery! They're wonderful!

I come here every once in a while if I don't see something at another store. I like that they have a points system for gas. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Just a good environment, cheap prices, good food, well maintained.

Its not one the biggest or newest Tops stores..but still nice. I'm the type of person that likes to go to multiple grocery stores to get the best deals..and while I find that tops everyday prices aren't the cheapest. They routinely have things on sale every week that keeps my family and I coming back. They are sort of old skool in this way. The still do the Buy 1 Get 1 sales, and every other grocery store promotion you can think of. Couponers probably love tops. Again, while not being the most "updated" Tops, like the one in Irondequoit. It still has its loyal customers. This location is always packed during the day. Sometimes you can take for granted how valuable a full size super market in your town can be. Gates is lucky to have 4 grocery stores all within a 5 minute drive.

Basic grocery store. Polite customer service representatives is a hit or miss. One time at this Tops a worker ignored my mother and I for almost 10 minutes before my mom had to basically yell at her and call her out. All we wanted was one premade salad from the prepared foods section. This store is one of the smaller ones so sometimes they run out of the things I need. I only shop at Tops so I am a repeat customer. The meal deals are my favorite.

Stopped in today to pick up a few items before the holiday weekend. Amazed that on Friday afternoon at 11:45 there are 2 cashiers open! Waited around while (I assume) some front end people finally made a decision to call for more cashier's. They arrive only to yell "I'm open" so a mad rush is made so the people already waiting basically get to wait some more. I finally get cashed out only to have the cashier total and approve my debit card sale before running the coupons, so he advised me I need to now go stand in the service desk line. I've already spent more time in line then I did getting my items! I left, I only needed a few things, and this is the second time I've been in this store and received terrible service. On a positive note, the items I needed were stocked and priced great. So good store for priced, stocked products, but incredibly lousy service and front end management.

I took a class at their Cooking school---what a joke! The recipes and techniques taught were very amateurish, and what really got me was I overheard the instructor referring to the students as the 5 letter B word (I won't type it here). VERY unprofessional. I will never go back to the school or the store.

Pretty good Tops. I am not sure why it has low ratings. It's a smaller store but they have a pretty good selection. Employees are very helpful and courteous. Good place to shop when you need groceries too. They also sell gas if you need it.

I like this location better than the one nearer my house. It seems bigger. The only thing is that I do not think they have Pan de Agua in their bakery. I never seen it, grant you that I always go later in the day. I particularly like their ice Cream section. It's against the wall by itself. Nothing next to it as to distract us from the multiple choices. Their flower selection could use more variety and arrangement. Their customer service desk is prominent, as it is at the front of the store as one walks in. A big counter space and area. It is always busy with the several services they provide for the customers. Nice feature.

Complete dump. Employees are rude. Store is disgusting. Found mold on my turkey sub I bought for lunch.
