This place looks nice but they hire inexperienced people I went for a pedicure and asked a few times for some one whow knows how to cean the corners of my toes yes No problem the girl I got couldn’t understand a word of English I explained to not cut me because I was on thinners it wasn’t even a minute later she cut me and I couldn’t stop bleeding the boss came Ofer and didn’t even offer an opology the rest of the pedicure was a disaster the girls was rattled this is unsanitary and then the boss charged me 53,00 I have been getting pedicure for 20 years this is the worst experience I ever had

So I have been searching for a nail salon in Rockaway since I moved here two years ago… and I finally found THE ONE!! I have literally tried every nail salon in Rockaway - I was about to give up and drive further out but I decided to give one last place a try — and finally… JACKPOT! This nail salon by far is my FAVORITE! Every nail tech is amazing and the salon is clean, new and pretty! Such a relaxing atmosphere and the owner is a doll! She put me onto bio gel and I am obsessed - my nails no longer chip or break at all! I’m so happy I found my new nail salon - I’ve been telling all my girls about it and they love it too! See pics for our happy faces LOL ☺️??

The management is screwed up wouldn't honor my Apple Pay. i wanted powder gel nails and they gave me regular. They made me take out cash. I had to go all the way to erskine to my bank. They wanted to charge me extra for being that it was a card they still did charge me. What a RIP OFF. nEVeR COMING BaCK not even e If you paid me.

I've been bragging about this place since it opened. Even recently, when the sweetheart workers do an exceptional job, I brag harder to the owner (Jessie?). It reached the point where the owner would tell me, word for word, "You sooooo sweet, I'll help you anytime." Noted. Suddenly things changed. The owner started refusing my credit card so I tended to leave my bag in the place while I ran to the ATM. Fine. We had an excellent working relationship so I know how to shut up & move on to make things go smoothly. Notice that me doing so was the OPPOSITE of the owner "helping me." Really? Last time I was in there she stood over me staring inside my handbag at my cash. Rude? No, nasty. I wanted to change my tip & the owner says to me, trying to APPEAR honest & straightforward, "You said X amount. I don't want my worker to think I'm not paying her enough." Fine. Again, I didn't want to argue. I did admit to her that I'm always on the block but it also depends on my work schedule so I can't make any promises. I say that because a few days ago, the owner is sitting inside & goes out of her way to wave hello to me. Cool. So last time I saw her, I initiated a hello waving in her fashion. She ignored me. Really? Two faced. What happened to when she said she'll help me? . She wanted to "appear" blunt & hold me to my promise of an exact tip amount..... sounds great except what happened to her offering to "help me? Deceitful. Jessie, you said you'd help me. Period. Watch out. Avoid this two faced owner & go elsewhere. (I know all the business owners who go into Jessie's establishment for gossip because gaslighting me travels FAST. They all do it in unison because they have ALL mirrored to me what the other business owner said to me. Yawn. Not even 1 original word out of this Jessie lady's mouth. Today I went to ANOTHER nail place & they weren't fake, two-faced, deceitful, or mirroring each other like clowns. Today was awesome. Be careful of Jessie the hypocrite. As other reviewers have said, no one wants to patronize someone who acts like she does. But I bet she treats all her fellow business owners like GOD. Laugh.

The prices were always a little high. Now they are astronomically high with the quality of service significantly lower. I shouldn't have to ask to have cuticles cleaned. They should ask. I should t have to ask to cut toenails - they should ask. $8 more for callous remover with pedicures and it's not removed. The service use to be better. Very disappointing - I travel through the toll to go there & honestly the service is lacking. If your going to consistently raise your price, make sure your services are up to par

I have been going to Blue Beach Salon for several years. The owner is very nasty . I know she thinks because is speaking Korean that no customers understand.Her body language speaks for itself. Very rude even to their poor staff. They won’t yseeing me again

I love my gel French tip nails! Tina did such a perfect job! Staff was friendly and prompt. And the place was clean and busy, but it's so relaxing that I was falling asleep. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful salon. Priced a little higher than most nail spas, however, their work is amazing and you don't have to come back as often. The service is always wonderful. Bio-gel all the way!

Let me stare by saying the salon is clean the first time I went there I was a little worried because of the reviews but the treatment was ok. so I decided to go back and that was the worse experience i've had at a nail salon (JESSE) the owner was so rude I'm mixed raced she was so nice to all her white customers and rude to me I was so uncomfortable I wanted to leave then she was talking bad about me to her workers but what she did not know is that I am fluent in 9 different language and understood everything she was saying and for being the only person of color in there I wanted to cry so please go at your own risk I spent over to be treated the way I was treated I will never go back I would like to relax from a hard week work not humiliated.

This place is not very friendly or welcoming to people of color l!! Furthermore, they're rude and they don't have honest pricing. Ada is friendly and skillful but the compliments end there. Do not spend money with an establishment that doesn't respect you or your culture.

My friend and I came in to get our nails done. As soon as we got in she started telling us the price like we couldn’t afford it. I got so irritated with her I left. She kept saying yeah I know it’s expensive so do you want to go?
