Best Western Mill River Manor is an older, dormitory-style hotel located on a busy highway. Some guests note that corner rooms can be very noisy, affecting sleep. The property offers great bus parking and is noted for train watching. It is within walking distance of many restaurants and local bars, with nightlife very close by. Experiences with the rooms vary. Some are described as large and nice, with proper cleaning. However, other guests report significant problems, including unclean conditions upon arrival and maintenance issues like a beeping fire alarm. The reception is in a separate building, and some did not feel secure due to easy access. Staff receive mixed reviews; they are frequently described as very nice, helpful, and quick to assist with repairs, though communication can sometimes be difficult and front desk responsiveness, especially at night, is inconsistent. Breakfast has limited options. The hotel also has a lobby area and a room available for private events.
More like an urban motel. You can hear traffic noise, occasional yelling. It might also include Section 8 housing. I was asked for my ID and an additional $100 fee in case of damage. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

They are the best friendliest people the management is great. The lady Sonny is a sweetheart. The lady Linda at the front she’s a sweetheart. They treat the people with nothing but respect and kindness, clean rooms. Good food, nice place.

Experience was good, but the room smelled like cigarettes smoking.
