We visited with 4 girls ages 8 to 12. They were thrilled to see axolotl, rabbits, life size fossils of dinosaurs, python, Emu, pheasants, peacocks, goats…. It was a very good learning experience. Kids made the Connections between dinosaurs and today’s species - survival and adaptation. Walk to the pond and back was nice as well to experience natural landscape. We saw dragonflies, lily pads and lotus. The small size of the museum renders itself to be enjoyable, interactive and interesting experience for kids without becoming too overwhelming and tiring.

My 6 and 3 year old had a great time. The place is small and we were able to walk through in about an hour. We went back around a second time to read all the info they had on the dinosaurs and animals they have on site. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We sat down for an animal show where the kids got to learn and ask questions. There is a even an area where kids can fish. For the price I did expect a little more but it was justified by the three hours we spent there exploring the rest of the grounds.

This place is awful, the exterior is run down and super old-fashioned. You can tell that whatever they're doing is not working. Not to mention the debris and beer bottles and cans that someone could step on where the lake is. Upkeep is atrocious and the place reeks! I blame everything on poor management, if I were a company I would NEVER want to collaborate with these people nor take little children here, you can find somewhere else on the island that's genuine with what they're specialized in.

Last fall I attended the tiny tots program with my 2 year old son peter and his cousin and they had such a wonderful time! I wanted to leave a review for Ms. Evelyn, the teacher who is such a sweet, patient woman who made the nature lessons so fascinating and simple for my toddler to enjoy and understand! He especially grew to love painting and is a little artist now! I’m hoping to sign up again in the next few weeks for the spring sessions (just trying to work out my schedule!) I hope to see Ms. Evelyn again!

This place is a total DUMP !! It's obvious that the construction and organization skills needs work. Everything is SUPER outdated not to mention the animal caretaking looks only enough to get by. I know my lizards and they are not supposed to have patchy and raggedy skin like the poor lizard they have here. It's not just the lizards, it's obvious the rest of the animals are also being mistreated and exploited. If I could give this place a zero star I totally would !!

Amazing adventure. We loved the mix of live animals, fossils, hands-on, and animatronics. Big enough to keep us busy for almost two hours (we didn't do the nature preserve) but not overwhelming for a three year old with a Dino obsession. The guides, Mason and Sean were wonderful. Knowledgeable enough to teach the adults, but totally focused on the kids. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in to the moment we regrettably left. Definitely will do this again.

I wouldn't book a birthday party, their prices are ridiculous, they have a 15 child minimum for party. You pay per child and per adult. There are many places on long Island with better prices and better things to do. I would keep looking if I were you. I'm not sure about regular admission and anything else they do so I cannot speak on that. But for birthday parties I would keep scrolling.

My kids loved this place! We went during the Christmas break and they got to see some really cool stuff during the Dinosaur Exhibit. Would definitely recommend to the younger ages. My twins are 5 and really enjoyed it.

The dinosaurs may be great but is obvious that construction needs to be done. Many things they have for children to play with can be dangerous. I made sure my child did not end up being hit by a piece of wood that went up and down to show weight. As well as that without tour guides sometimes things are not worth it. There's also two workers that were not that welcoming. I recommend with the attitudes employees have not to go. Only people with kind attitudes there are a three volunteers and the person that welcomed us CJ.

My son has been obsessed with dinosaurs! So I went on the hunt and this place is a hidden gem! It is a little pricey but the smile on his face made it painless lol. They have great educational components to the entire exhibit. It is small but well put together. We spent about an hour. You can Definitely see the upkeep here is not cheap so the fee is understandable. They have animals, animated dinosaurs & opportunities to feed the animals and have a little picnic if you want to. They even have an area to dig for fossils for your little paleontologist.
