The mobile check-in is a complete waste of time. When I got there I had go to through the process again and waited over 20 minutes for the approval to come through. The representative hands a smart phone that has tiny writing you can’t see. I signed up for the app and it is also useless in speeding anything up. Be prepared to waste a half hour of your life no matter what location you go to.

"Ghetto Haul" i was trying to deploy all my stuff all in one night and they yelled at me and told me to leave the next morning for "breaking the rules and going over hours" dont rent here its a scam!

It was easy to rent and conveniently located. The in house rewpresentatives as well as online were great. However, we cleaned out the truck and then were charged for a cleaning fee. WE cleaned it out. Next time we know to take pictures.

My pick up experience was horrible. I rent from here very often however this time new individuals were hired. Not very nice. Rude angry disrespectful individuals. I have never had such a bad experience like this before and I rent from uhual very often. I disgusted on how I was treat and threaten. I will NOT return and will definitely indicate to others my very poor experience. The worst customer service I have ever seen. I recommend to hire individuals that actually care for themselves as well as their company they work for reputation.

I didn’t even want to give 1 star but wanted to comment on how unprofessional this location is! To charge a damage fee for something that was already there is crazy! They did no inspection prior to leaving, yet want to charge damage! Never experienced such a horrible rental experience! The manager gave a generic response and did not want to take the time to investigate my response to their damage fee! The damage is claiming looks old! The truck itself looked a little beat up and battered!They don’t answer the phone, forcing you to physically go there for assistance! When asking for a manager, I was told she wasn’t there because she had things to do! Really! I wish I got paid to do nothing and not even bother to show up to work because I had personal errands to run!I wish I had seen the reviews before going to this location and can agree that this by far, is the worst location in the state of New York! I would even say nationwide!They make U-hail look like track and I would recommend that you go to another location or another company!I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and DCWP. They should audited and investigated!

Honestly couldn't be happier with the help I received from the staff at Rockville. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and friendly. I will go out of my way to rent from the Rockville Center location in the future.

I reserved a cargo van on Thursday November 9 for use the following day on November 10. When I arrived I was told the per mileage rate had increased from $1.19 to $1.39 per mile. The rate is not the issue. The reservation quote was not honored even though it was about 12 hours later. A reservation is expected to be honored. It feels like false advertising, and will ensure that I use Ryder, Penske or any other options over U-Haul going forward.

The UX on the app was horrible. Was there for 45 minutes which is easily 30 minutes longer than reasonable after having a reservation. Will be giving 1 star reviews in as many platforms as possible this week. Unnecessarily bad especially with agents there and no customers ahead of me.

The people that work there are very disorganized and do not know what they are doing. It makes for a very frustrating experience. If this is an indication of the level of service I can expect, I will avoid renting from Uhaul in the future.The intake process via the app was not working at all after multiple attempts by myself and the rude lady who was working at the desk. She had to enter my information manually. It was a very unpleasant experience.Then they couldn't find my vehicle.Then they couldn't find the keys.If i hadn't asked all the questions about the dropbox location and how to return the vehicle, I wouldn't have known.A process that should have taken 15 minutes wound up taking 1 hour causing me to miss the ferry that I had reservations for to go to see my children in CT.
