Work at an autoshop, autozone is always our last resort because their specialty is long wait times and giving you the wrong part. The only thing consistant about them is how bad their service is, if you're there to pick a part you already know go ahead but if youre ordering a part from them good luck. You'd have a better chance closing your eyes and picking a random car part from a parts catalogue then trusting these dudes. Go to advanced, shop online, take a welding class and build your own part. Anything besides ordering anything from here :)

needed wipers u have an older man with white hair working there i ask a question made no attempt to help me just told me what isle there was a young asian gentleman working there he immediately help me make manger get rid of the other guy he was very rude

Hello, The guys at the Miller Place auto Zone are clear-minded and unbelievably helpful, Last year I needed help with my battery testing and than subsequently purchased a new Battery. This year, help in locating a proper rear view mirror, plus new, back up lights and today my room or Dome light was very difficult to get the bulb out for my 2015 Kia Forte. Employee Charles figured it out so quickly.The last two visits were for lights. The Auto Zone associate called Charles got the bulb out {it was so difficult} and installed the new bulb, Charles is really persistent and so good at trouble shooting. I love this guy. THANK you so much to the guys at Miller Place auto zone and Charles in particular.
The guys at the Ronkonkoma Auto Zone are good but not quite as personable or eager to help. I believe that might be because the Ronkonkoma crew is usually much busier than the Miller Place crew but Don't get me wrong, the Ronkonkoma crew are very good but not as quick or as personable as Miller Place guys. My transit van battery died and I struggled to find where the battery terminals were. The employee Greg quickly figured it out and jumped it.

I used to come here rather than the competition specifically because they'd gladly perform minor tasks as a courtesy, such as changing a burnt out brake light bulb. I work on the road, driving a company car and minor things like this are my responsibility to change during the course of my workday, if needed. It's not always quick and easy to figure out how things come apart/go together, especially as I often switch cars and they are not all the same.Today, I bought a bulb and a helpful young employee initially told me, upon my request, that he would certainly change it for me. Upon this convo being overhead by another employee, he piped up from across the room, "NO- we DON'T change bulbs for customers!" The younger employee was apologetic- the older one didn't even step forward to explain or apologize.I can't get the bulb out- I'll have to risk a ticket and drive until I can find a Good Samaritan somewhere to help.Time to find another auto parts store for me!
