Apparently this US post office runs 1 minute faster then the rest of the world. I showed up at 4:59 and I was told "Our scanners say it's 5:00" so they're closed. I find it hard to believe that an iPhone that is automatically synced to the time is inaccurate and yet the "scanner" has the accurate reading? Comical at best.

Awful lol the amount of times I’ve had to ask for refunds and stuff because they lost my package or something of that nature is ridiculous haha whole place needs to rebuild from the inside out..it’s even to the point where carriers might be taking stuff and saying they lost it..happens too many times

Slowest service ever. It took 10 minutes to drop off a prepaid package with only one person in front of me and two service windows open.This is also a good opportunity to express my displeasure of their delivery. The new carriers are terrible. I get mail from addresses that are blocks away. They're not friendly whatsoever; never wave or acknowledge even if you're standing in plain sight. They couldn't care less.

Delivery is horrible. If you want to make sure something gets to you avoid the and use UPS instead.

The actual employees within the brick and mortar store are pleasant, but as far as delivery goes, they are absolutely horrendous. There is always at least one person home at my house, yet they never ring the bell when delivering packages that require a signature, instead leaving a slip stating that it must be picked up at the post office because "nobody was home to receive the package", which is just a blatant lie and a complete lack of effort on his or her part.

I have gotten my neighbors mail and returned it in the past, I have not received some bills from time to time, the fact that the mailbox is not in front of our house annoys me, how lazy to merge these boxes in this town so the mailman doesn't have to go down every Street and now we are missing a package, whether my neighbor got it in their box and did not return it is a mystery, especially that I called early this morning spoke with Margaret at the Rocky Point post office and she never called me back. I am very annoyed.

Joe and everyone at the Rocky Point NY Post Office is fantastic! I have lived here 16 years and our service has always been great! We even ordered baby chicks online and they kept us posted the entire time until they arrived!! They made sure to wait for us to pick them up so the chicks didn't have to spend the night at the post office. They are wonderfully caring people!
