Great community people, on our first visit we left behind my son's hand-made knit hat and they tracked us down to hold it for us!

Perfect atmosphere with great art, coffee, and company! The Copper Easel is a beautiful gallery that lets artists and local vendors show off and sell their work and also provides fun classes to the community. I’m so happy to have such a comfortable space to work and make new friends.

The Copper Easel ads to the cultural district of the area. You can have a hand crafted beverage while perusing art by local artists. Take a class or join in many of their game nights.

I have purchased quite a bit of art, jewelry, and supplies from the Copper Easel. My teenagers have taken some of the art classes as well. I can't say enough nice things about the Copper Easel. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to explain the art supplies, and the artists are world class and bring their obvious love of their craft to their art and teaching. They are very involved in community events and have made the Arts District a welcoming, vibrant place.

The Copper Easel is great local spot to hang out, have a coffee, look at local art and crafts, as well as picking up art supplies. It is a very welcoming store in historic downtown Rome, NY. and fits in well with the other businesses on the block. They have a very friendly staff and are always hosting fun community events, game nights, retro hangs, and card games.

A freshly squeezed establishment of pure vibes, comfort, and absolute quality product and people. Get a drink, sign up for a class, and gander at the talent. Adam is a great business owner and super rad dude.

I'm visiting from Orlando, FL and my friends brought me to the art shop and gallery downtown. I was so impressed with the variety of local artisans and mediums of art for sale, as well as the friendliness of the staff. I can't wait to visit again! I bought these amazing functioning journal earrings, I can't wait to watercolor in them!

You can say our review is biased, and we can't argue with that, but the Copper Easel was around long before superofficial, and, our opinion of The Copper Easel goes way back (4 years to be exact!)Adam, the owner of the gallery, has an infectious dedication to the art community in Rome. Adam's friendly demeanor, his ability to connect with professional artists, amateurs and hobbyists alike is such an asset to our city. This business has cultivated such a desire for art and culture, from kids and adults taking classes, learning new artistic skills, to the exhibition of local artists' work. The effort Adam has put in has had a profound impact on how so many people experience Rome.We are proud, honored and continuously excited to see what Adam and the Copper Easel will do next. We hope you'll join us in not only keeping up to speed with the Copper Easel, but also in becoming a part of the fun!
