I went over to get a cup of tea. How disappointing to see 3 staff members behind the counter watching their phones. One was drinking a cup of water right behind the counter. Also disappointed to see there was no where clean to rest my cup so that I could sweeten it. If you’re gonna just chill at work, at least make sure customers have a clean space to enjoy their purchase.

A quick search indicates it's open 24 hours, yet they are almost never open when I am here in the morning. Coffee is basic DD, service is usually miserable... but options are limited at the airport.

I always get the Matcha Latte with Oatmilk and a Splash of Almond milk. The antioxidants really cleanse.

The Islip-MacArthur Dunkin Express. I am very familiar with the motto, "America runs on Dunkin." From my recent flights out of airports a new motto could be "America flies on Dunkin." Dunkin is becoming more popular at the airport terminals. This is a relatively new Dunkin Express. When I flew out of Islip-MacArthur Airport in November 2021, this location was a Starbucks. This past Monday, I flew on Dunkin coffee before flying out of Islip-MacArthur Airport. It was my second Dunkin coffee at an airport within ten days. In similarity to an airplane's ascent, the prices hear ascend to the stratosphere. This location does not accept the Dunkin app. Here, a medium cup of coffee costs $3.99. This is the very first Dunkin that I have been to that charges 89 cents for a shot of blueberry flavor. A medium coffee with blueberry syrup and two Equals came out to $5.30. In comparison, the exact beverage in Baltimore-Washington International Airport came out to $2.75. In contrast to the Starbucks that used to reside here, this location lacks the cozy ambiance. When I visited the Starbucks, there were tables and comfortable seats. This Dunkin is a Kiosk. Instead of sitting on a comfortable seat, my brother and I drank our beverages at a food court table overlooking the runaways. This was a table with a plate glass window view of the runaways reaching towards the bordering forests in the distance. This table was a close walk to the kiosk. Considering that this is a very small airport, Dunkin Express was close to nearly every ticket gate seat. The service is what I expected in an airport. There were two women working the kiosk that moved the line in an efficient manner. Although I have mentioned the high prices here, I do appreciate having a Dunkin in an airport that would be far more boring to wait in if it wasn't there. Their coffee is very strong and savory. When I waited with my brother to board the plane while drinking Dunkin coffee at a food court table overlooking the runaways, it significantly added to the quality of our time. When I fly out of Islip-MacArthur Airport in the future, most likely "I will fly on Dunkin."
