I have had a great experience with Modern Aquarium. They have been super timely on answering any questions I've had, even prior to making a purchase. I ordered the 48 plant bundle and it arrived super fast. All the plants, except the Jungle Vals looked amazing and are showing new growth even after only being in the tank for 3 days. Modern Aquarium has provided advice on how to try and save the Jungle Vals and will provide a refund if they don't survive. I would definitely purchase from them again and would recommend anyone else to purchase from them.

The products they sent were top quality. Very healthy, very mature plant. Leaves were all green, the roots were flawless. cant get anything better. I've ordered from them for several years now and in all cases, fantastic service and FANTASTIC quality. I've been aquascaping for years and I've not seen any other provider have such mature and healthy plants as I've seen with MA. Thank you folks, you make my tank look professional. Now the hard part.....keeping them looking nice.

I posted this review on their site but of course they won't put a 3 start review in their own website.
Merely wanted to communicate that their packages are not for the consumer but for modern aquarium to move extra inventory. I ordered 2 large plant packages. The plants were healthy and arrived on time and well packaged. None of that an issue. The plants were mostly wispy thin stem plants. Not so interesting at all. Ultimately I orfered leafy plants. All the usual suspects. Amazon swords , crypts, anubias and ferns. All look great and are prospering. Pointing out that leaving it Up to them is not the best idea. Do your research and select the correct plants for your situation

We bought plenty of plants from here and most were in good shape. They're doing well as of now and the fishies really seem happy. They delivered everything in a timely manner which I appreciated. They even allowed us to return one of the products that we ordered incorrectly. Thanks guys.

Ok, so I was skeptical but bought two underwater dwarf lilies. They came very well packaged, great health and condition. The price was great too. I must say, I think they are more like Jack and The Beanstalk plants because these things are flourishing. They have grown so much in just a couple of weeks it’s nuts. I will definitely order more from Modern Aquarium.

I purchased 22 plants. They were delivered the last week of February. The week before I started a new 5 gallon tank using 2" of stratem with a half inch gravel cap because I prefer that look. I have a 78 degree heater, a mid brightness light I keep on 8hrs and I put in an established sponge filter the day I planted the tank. I used water from my established, planted 29 gallon. I put them in the 5 gallon in case there was melting and left them to adapt to being submerged. It's 3 weeks later and most of the plants melted away to nothing. A few of the plants are doing OK, but the tank went from looking like a jungle to a scrub brush desert.

I did not receive my entire order. They did not honor the buy 2 plants receive 1 free offer I got in my email. Instead of sending me what I paid for I get a refund for the missing plant. Don't order from them!
