Flying to Charlotte with my disabled son. They were very helpful, the staff are used to working with people with disabilities
We flew before the started charging for bags. I also know seat assignments are starting. This will be a different airline. The advantage for me is the closeness of MacArthur airport. As far as saving money on baggage those days are over

Let me tell you real quick about how Selvanna saved my life. After three layovers and an intense travel experience with my elderly parents I finally got to my last destination, and my wallet must have slipped out from my back pocket while sleeping on the last flight. Silvana stopped me aggressively while trying to re-enter the plane to look to my wallet, which I completely understand. Asked me my name and what I was doing had me stay securely on the tarmac while she went and looked for my wallet and found it, she was firm and kind at the same time. I appreciate her dedication to her job and the rules while also being Extremely kind and understanding. I’ve never been a huge fan of Southwest but now I am thank you, Silvana, southwest owes you a lifetime customer worth of commission.
