Roscoe Supermarket is an excellent family-owned small supermarket and deli. It is surprisingly thorough for its size, with later hours. The store has just about everything you could want or need, making it unnecessary to go to the city. It features the freshest meat locally, a great frozen department, and fresh produce. The deli carries Boars Head meats and cheeses and makes sandwiches. The beer selection is the best, with a great selection of microbrewery beers, both local and from upstate, plus all regular brands. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knows how to communicate with customers, creating a very friendly environment. The store is clean, with very regulative product management, making items easy to find. It is a perfect last chance stop before going to a cabin, located on a block with other amenities. For seasonal campers, they also own and operate the laundromat behind the building.
Surprisingly thorough for the market's size. They have later hours (past Pecks). Prices are between a grocery store and a convenience store.
