The lady with a tattoo on left arm has a very disgusting attitude, she had so many nasty things to say ... she has the worst customer service I’ve have ever experienced and I would not recommend her to anyone at all.

I just moved around the area and decided to go get ny hair done. However, since I enter the salon the hairdresser gave me an eye. As I approached her to ask if she can cut my hair and the style she already had a nasty attitude with me. When i told her all I wanted was my front layer she told me it was impossible to do lmbo! Like really she has never cut front layers? Awful service!

This establishment is straight ROBBERY!!!! Don't go there. Please and they are not friendly but being I already was in there I just stayed my daughters got there hair done here and they are small children they charged me nearly twice the amount and said it was cause they had natural hair. They are children!! They also have a board with wrong prices. Don't go there. I don't think they embrace cultures. Kind of like the Dominicans who hate blacks. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Even after the high price they charged me an additional 10$. Being my girls needed it I just did it but they will never get my business again!! Do not go there!!!!! Smh! Terrible experience.

This place should have Negative Stars. A big fat 0. I will say I'm disappointed and utterly disgusted by the treatment I just received walking into this business. My first interaction was over the phone which was pleasant. I described what I wanted and was given a price. I walked in and greeted all staff and patrons with a hello. I Walked to a stylist and She looked at me as if I wasn't human with a distraught facial expression. Told her I made an earlier phone call about what I had wanted and if it could be done. She became defensive and said I made no such phone call. I dismissed that topic and asked if she can give me a perm. She said well it'll be $100 (which I'm fine with). She asked me what brand and I said Affirm. She gave me a look of "oh hell nah" I kid you not! She then said well you're going to have to wait which I'm also fine with. She proceeds to speak in Spanish. What she didn't know was that I was fluent. She should have said to me that it couldn't be done then speaking to her counterpart. In other words, she would rather do without the business. I will say I have 4A hair and Intentionally didn't want my hair bone straight. I wouldn't be surprised if these are the Dominicans who don't like black people. There are those who treat us like brothers and sisters but then there are those who look at us like we are mortal enemies. All in all, don't step foot into this establishment unless you will support those who do not embrace all walks of people and types of hair textures.

This is my salon...the owners are very people oriented...comfortable atmosphere...stylist can be little rude and rough but that is due to the language barrier...I would still say yes

I went to J Z salon with really damaged hair. Since I've been going to my hair stylist Maria it's not damaged any more and it has grown a lot. I always get complements on how healthy it looks.
