“I had a great experience at Lavino in Great Neck. The selection of wines and spirits is thoughtfully curated, with a wide variety that feels both unique and high-quality. The customer service really stood out—the recommendations were spot-on and clearly came from real knowledge and passion. I also loved the atmosphere of the store; the lighting and overall design give it a warm, boutique feel that makes browsing enjoyable. On top of that, the friendly conversation with the owner made the visit feel personal rather than transactional. Definitely a place I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.”
“Partaish (cashier) was such a great help choosing my new favorite wine. I usually drink the XXL wine but he told me about a wine that is stronger, good taste and same price. The liquor is called Turboscato. I can call and They answer. They are super sweet here. Have almost every liquor you need.

Even though this liquor store is 15-20 minutes away, it's definitely worth the drive because they have many options, and the staff really work hard to satisfy their customers.”

“Wild Common Tasting Night in Queens at Rego Park Wines & Liquors
I recently hosted a tasting at Rego Park Wines & Liquors, with three expressions from Wild Common: Blanco, Reposado, and Still Strength Blanco. Big thanks to Andy (Andres Zúñiga) for being such a friendly host and for supporting high-quality tequila in Queens.
Wild Common is all about additive-free, traditionally crafted tequila built around authentic flavor. The Blanco is bright, clean, and agave-forward, featuring vibrant roasted agave that feels rich and pure. The Reposado, lightly aged in ex-bourbon barrels, brings depth and complexity with a smooth, full-bodied character while letting that agave shine through . The Still Strength Blanco was the showstopper—powerful and intense, yet still balanced, delivering bold roasted agave in a higher-proof package.
What made the evening memorable was the vibe. People lingered, asked questions, compared impressions, and genuinely connected over tequila. It felt less like a tasting and more like community learning.
