“Had my daughter’s sweet 16 at the B Spot and it was amazing. Robin and her partner were very easy to work with. Everything was seamless and efficient. High reccomend renting here for you next event. The place was clean. I like that the food area was separate from the actually party space. I don’t have the professional pictures yet but here’s a glimpse of how amazing the event came out.”

“I recently got married at Stewart manor, and we are still living on a high from the joy of the day. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, beauty of the venue, and incredible service. Everyone especially LOVED the cocktail hour, and they were kind enough to include a Caribbean station with jerk chicken and plantains, which ended up being everyone’s favorite food of the night! We had an issue with our transportation picking up the groomsmen at the hotel, and James really helped to calm us down and ensure the day went off without a hitch. He is truly as incredible as all the reviews say he is. Although we were definitely stressed from this, James calmness and steadiness throughout helped us (and our parents) to move through the ceremony and really live in the beauty of the moment. We knew hands down that Stewart manor could handle anything that happened that day, and that sense of security and trust truly helped us overall as the day approached.

We are so grateful we chose Stewart manor as our venue. We would choose them 1000 times over, and SO look forward to any future events there as a guest!”

“Food and drinks were okay. A little overpriced in my opinion for the drinks. Two small mojitos (not strong) cost $44. Had to keep going out the room to call them if we wanted to order drinks or food; so service could be a little more attentive. But they were accommodating and very patient when it came to splitting the bill unexpectedly. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had good sound.”

“Private brunch for a baby shower, the crew was fantastic, the fixing were on point and service impeccable. Lots of refills, tables cleared promptly and any needs met instantly. There was lots of street parking (meters and alt side) and all went as planned.”

“This was my first time visiting the aviation museum, and it was an incredibly informative experience.
There were numerous displays and exhibits showcasing aviation history dating back to the 1800s, including iconic airlines like Pan Am and TWA.
One of the highlights was the exhibit on the very first aircraft was truly fascinating. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're interested in learning more about aviation and its history.”

“We had a beautiful baby shower here in May 2024. Everything came out perfect. My guests had a wonderful time, they loved both the indoor and tented areas. I was able to play photos on the TV's and we had music throughout the space. Dana and her team assisted the entire time, and helped make the event run smoothly from start to finish. We had a wonderful experience and our daughter’s birthday was excellent. Decor, desserts and cake were delicious. The highlight was the bouncy house that kept the children energized throughout the event.”

“I take my son here often about every month and the staff are lovely! They remember my son and are so kind! What i love is how clean everything is and they still have lysol spray available along with water . The open play is 2 hours and my son loves it he never wants to leave. “Heavy doors and low curb without a cut make navigation with a wheelchair difficult. There is an elevator.
We were there for a catered affair and I don't know if the caterer is independent.
They moved the crowds well, the facility is clean and nicely decorated.
There is a large parking lot.
Staff was helpful and supportive.”

“My FAVORITE live venue. The sound and view is great all around. I've seen Chemical Brothers, Duran Duran, CAKE, Robert Plant, Culture Club, B-52s, Cat Powers, Future Island, Morrissey (and he did not cancel, which is rare), and more. Really wanted to see Pulp live last year, but it was bad timing on my part. So many good memories here. It's pretty historic too. The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix played here.

Anyway, don't listen to the cranky neighbors, it's not *that* loud. I've been to other venues that you can't even hear yourself think. Forest Hills stadium has been consistently respectful of the local residents. They really do try. I wished I lived in the area, I could just walk to the venue! Otherwise I'd leave the windows open just to hear the concert.

Anway, the food court is amazing. Very ADA accessible. To me, it's the perfect place to see a concert. The only downside is the curfew, but it is what it is.”

The team at Jungle Adventure were extremely responsive from our initial inquiry to our follow-up after the party. The team onsite during the birthday were organized, attentive and very helpful. The food catered was very good and the cakes were beautiful - all ordered and coordinated by Jungle Adventure, along with the double decor (we had a theme for each child). All of the kids had a wonderful time and enjoyed the facility. I would definitely do another party here as well as attend open play sessions. Thank you!”

“I am a native Nyer who moved and back visiting from NC. Stayed here as the reviews were better than others around. While this was a tad pricer I decided why not. We arrived around 8pm. At first look the property looks really good. There were valets who we asked where to park and they showed us the other side of the building. On entry in the lobby, it's clean, uncluttered and well lit. No musty odors. We got to our room and we were impressed. I had no expectations but was nicely surprised. I am always on the look out for a room not well cleaned. Hair on the pillow or bathroom floor...NOPE. there was none of that. We ordered room service and the bread basket with the olive oil was really good. The fries..were crispy and done well. The room was modern enough, clean. Not a dust in sight. Even in the morning. Bravo.We actually decided we would stay here again.No complaints.Rooms: The rooms are spacious. Had the king room.Food & drinks: Food was good. A bit pricey but worth it.”

“A hidden gem in Valley Stream. The owner Saundra takes care of everything. Nothing is left to chance, and planning is meticulous. She can provide solid recommendations to DJ's and other professionals, ensuring your event is perfect.

The space is well laid out with sections for seating, dancing, entrance for when the star of the event arrives, and even a private room for the honoree.

Lighting, decorations, and every aspect of the space are absolutely stunning, and she was able to customize everything to our colors and themes.

We hosted our daughters sweet 16 here, and we were blown away by all the guests who raved about the venue. Without a doubt a 10/10 that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue in the Valley Stream area.”

“This is my fourth summer staying at The Rockaway Hotel, and I genuinely love supporting local businesses—especially one that allows for a chic little staycation so close to home. The location is ideal, and this summer, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in the beach amenities. Chris is doing a fantastic job—truly a highlight of the experience.

That said, there are a few things I wish the hotel would consider for future guests:
• Room Comfort: The pillows in the rooms leave much to be desired, and the lack of USB or USB-C charging ports feels outdated in 2025.
• Weekend Experience: Be aware that summer weekends feature live concerts on the patio that go until 10 PM—fun for some, but not exactly conducive to a relaxing evening.
• Pricing vs. Value: Rates on weekends are steep given the room size and overall service level.
• Family-Friendly Vibes: While I understand that families make up a large part of the clientele, the pool area can get quite chaotic. As someone who comes to unwind, I often wish there was a more serene, adults-only vibe—at least in designated spaces.

Still, The Rockaway Hotel has carved out a special niche, and I continue to return because the location, the team, and the spirit of the place feel like summer to me. I hope they keep evolving—and listening.”

“We just held a party for 80 family and friends to celebrate the upcoming wedding of our daughter and her fiancé at The Ocean Club. To be with loved ones in such an awe-inspiring setting was magical; the ocean, the most beautiful white sand, the gorgeous sunset-all enjoyed from their beautiful deck..:then the indoor and outdoor bar....and lovely ballroom. the atmosphere is casual yet elegant festive yet calm. There were really three parts to the experience and all three were perfect. First there is the period of selecting and working with the team: they couldn't have been more cooperative and helpful and responsive and flexible. Second is the event itself: ran absolutely smoothly and everything they said they would handle, they handled with great care. Third after the event; we left some items behind and they were in touch with us the very next morning. The Ocean Club works with one caterer and man what a skilled and delightful group of professionals who not only prepared delicious food but we're so invested in the success of our event that their presence enhanced the evening for all. Together this made for a perfect event!”

“This is our go to party hall in Queens, not only is the staff super friendly and accommodating, but the space is large enough for a decent sized party. We have had birthday parties, Christmas parties, weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, and even baby showers here. I couldn’t recommend this place more.”
