“My husband and I got married at Tourmaline on 3/13/26. We are both from Forest Hills, and it was so special to us to have our small 45-person wedding held in a location where we met and grew up. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience preparing for our wedding dinner as well as how it all went on the big day. Rebecca was extremely communicative and clear throughout the planning process. She was always available to email and speak on the phone to address any questions we had, big or small. We did not hire a DJ and instead chose to provide our own music, and Rebecca walked us through the process of bringing our own playlists (they even provided us an additional speaker for a small fee). The venue was spotless, beautiful, open and airy, with warm lighting that was both welcoming and intimate. The service was impeccable and staff was friendly and helpful. As food and beverages are one of the most important parts of an event for my husband and me, I won't cut corners on describing how that side of things went! We chose the family style/buffet dinner option with 2 cocktail hour food stations, as well as the top shelf full open bar. I can say that absolutely everything was incredible. We went with: 3 Mains: -Chicken Cordon Bleu -Short Ribs in bordelaise -Vegetarian Paella 3 Sides: -Potatoes Dauphinoise -Penne a la Vodka -Garden Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Our two stations were the cheese and charcuterie, as well as the elegant raw bar (oysters, shrimp, clams, mussels). Everything was absolutely outstanding, with a crowd favorite being the short ribs and a personal favorite of mine being the chicken cordon bleu. However, I could not name one thing that was subpar. As a big seafood fan, I was tickled pink to be able to have oysters at my wedding. (Even more tickled pink to wake up the next morning and have leftovers for breakfast, neatly packaged by staff).Also to note: they were willing to make almost anything gluten free by request, and they even prepared a separate bowl of plain pasta for my stepson. My guests all commented how friendly the bartenders were and how nice it was to have them remember their drinks each time they went up for more! We added the additional hour to our package and were so happy we did; the 3 hours would have flown by; 4 hours really seemed to be the sweet spot for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Overall, the care, attention, and service that were provided in our wedding experience was top notch and I would give Tourmaline nothing less than 5 stars for making our wedding day unforgettable. “I recently got married at Stewart manor, and we are still living on a high from the joy of the day. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, beauty of the venue, and incredible service. Everyone especially LOVED the cocktail hour, and they were kind enough to include a Caribbean station with jerk chicken and plantains, which ended up being everyone’s favorite food of the night! We had an issue with our transportation picking up the groomsmen at the hotel, and James really helped to calm us down and ensure the day went off without a hitch. He is truly as incredible as all the reviews say he is. Although we were definitely stressed from this, James calmness and steadiness throughout helped us (and our parents) to move through the ceremony and really live in the beauty of the moment. We knew hands down that Stewart manor could handle anything that happened that day, and that sense of security and trust truly helped us overall as the day approached.

We are so grateful we chose Stewart manor as our venue. We would choose them 1000 times over, and SO look forward to any future events there as a guest!”

“Food and drinks were okay. A little overpriced in my opinion for the drinks. Two small mojitos (not strong) cost $44. Had to keep going out the room to call them if we wanted to order drinks or food; so service could be a little more attentive. But they were accommodating and very patient when it came to splitting the bill unexpectedly. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had good sound.”

“We had my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Once Upon a Sundae, and it was absolutely amazing! We brought our own decorations, and the staff set everything up beautifully, it looked even better than I imagined. From start to finish, they made the entire process so easy and completely stress free.

“This owner saved our baby shower. My husband and I were planning on having our baby shower in Cunningham park. Months of preparation and our families were coming from different states. When we came to the park to set up, it was freezing that day and so windy. We didn’t that would happen on May 30th. I literally googled closed venue near me, I called Bobby the owner and he said he had availability and we can do it on an affordable price! It was truly a miracle. He set up the tables and cleaned up the place for us on such short notice! I definitely recommend this place for any event! The place was beautiful! Thanks again Bobby! “This was my first time visiting the aviation museum, and it was an incredibly informative experience.
There were numerous displays and exhibits showcasing aviation history dating back to the 1800s, including iconic airlines like Pan Am and TWA.
One of the highlights was the exhibit on the very first aircraft was truly fascinating. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're interested in learning more about aviation and its history.”

We were there for a catered affair and I don't know if the caterer is independent.
They moved the crowds well, the facility is clean and nicely decorated.
There is a large parking lot.

Anna truly helped us ensure that we booked all the appropriate services for our wedding day that met what we were looking for. She carefully went through our contract with us so that there would be no surprises or unexpected hiccups. Her attention to detail, patience, and friendliness led to exceptional customer service. She made the booking experience fun, exciting, and enjoyable.

Julia assisted us in planning the details of our wedding day. From the start, I had difficulty developing our “vision” in terms of decor. About 10 months out from the wedding, I asked if we could meet with her to get her recommendations. Even though this is considered super early, Julia met with us and was extremely helpful. We went though all the finer details, she shared photos of previous events with us, and made suggestions based on some of our ideas. This truly fueled our vision and allowed us to take our time along the way with planning each and every piece of our wedding day. Whenever I had a question or concern throughout the process, Julia addressed them promptly with kindness and patience. Any time any day, she was there for me and her exceptional personality and industry expertise truly added to our experience. We couldn’t picture not having Julia as part of our journey.

On our wedding day, Kerry and Brianna, our bridal attendants, were top notch. Kerry was constantly a step ahead of me, predicting my next move or need, with the utmost friendliness, positivity, and sincerity. She even changed my shoes for me without me even having to ask, she just knew. She also spoke Spanish, which was an unexpected bonus given that my husband had a ton of family from Argentina who only spoke Spanish. From the second I walked out of the limo, Brianna was undoubtedly patient, kind, thoughtful, and helpful—she was there to help me with my dress, provide drink in hand, bustle my dress, and ensure that all photos went smoothly without my dress being ruined by any mud. Both Kerry and Brianna kept an eye out of our families, and addressed anything they or our bridal party needed tenfold. They were on their A game, and both far surpassed our expectations.

Carlos, our maitre’d, ensured that every detail was properly taken care of. We really wanted to enjoy some of our cocktail hour, and he made sure we had the opportunity to fit in some photos, room reveal, and still make it to cocktail. Throughout the night, we observed him ensuring that the night went seamlessly and smoothly without hiccups.

The wait staff and bartenders were phenomenal, we have heard so many positive comments about how efficiently they worked and took care of each guest with kindness and a smile.

The grounds at the Inn at NHP are immaculate. We were supposed to split our photos with here and Westbury Gardens. Due to the weather and the grounds at Westbury Gardens being flooded, we did all of our photos at the Inn at NHP courtyard. This honestly was a win win. The sun peeked out exactly when we needed it to, and their picture-perfect grounds were in great condition to capture photos of my husband and I, our families, and our bridal parties.

Because of this incredible team, we had the wedding day of our dreams. We truly could not be more grateful, and will always be in love with the Inn at NHP! 🤍”

“My FAVORITE live venue. The sound and view is great all around. I've seen Chemical Brothers, Duran Duran, CAKE, Robert Plant, Culture Club, B-52s, Cat Powers, Future Island, Morrissey (and he did not cancel, which is rare), and more. Really wanted to see Pulp live last year, but it was bad timing on my part. So many good memories here. It's pretty historic too. The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix played here.

Anyway, don't listen to the cranky neighbors, it's not *that* loud. I've been to other venues that you can't even hear yourself think. Forest Hills stadium has been consistently respectful of the local residents. They really do try. I wished I lived in the area, I could just walk to the venue! Otherwise I'd leave the windows open just to hear the concert.

Anway, the food court is amazing. Very ADA accessible. To me, it's the perfect place to see a concert. The only downside is the curfew, but it is what it is.”
