Beautiful trail culminating in an elevated bridge that overlooks the river, entire town and valley. Beautiful scenery to explore and take awesome panoramic pictures. Great for hiking or biking and had a lot of entry and exit points that make it easy to enjoy a much or as little of the trail as you wish. Highly recommended.

Rosedale and the TRESTLE are amazing for a LONG... or short walk. take detour off the main path and BRIDGE for a 1.5mile rt hike to a scenic overlook or head down to main street like we did for some lunch and to browse the adorable local shops! oh and don't forget to step off the path near the caves to feel the crisp cold air coming from below! it'll cool you off on a hot summer day and amaze your mind!❤️

Great place to walk. The trestle is awesome !You get a great breeze when you walk by the cave . The parking on Binnewater is really excellent!!

As Mohonk tower is to New Paltz so is The Trestle to Rosendale, definitive, iconic, and always different. A lovely combination of human Ingenuity and engineering, history and nature... always recognizeable and always changing, The light the weather the time of day, whether you're going under it or over it, it is a thing of beauty. Always appreciate that John Rahl could have trashed it, and cashed in, instead he saved it for us.

I love this place. The view from the trestle bridge is beautiful for every season. Its about an 8 mile ride from Rosendale to New Paltz, a nice ride and a a fun town to visit.

Fabulous views of the surrounding area. I felt a little nervous of the height but the bridge feels secure enough and the views are amazing.
