I booked an appointment for Saturday morning very late on Friday evening. I was happy to get an appointment and when I got to the location, it was raining heavily and very hard to locate the door. This is inside a larger building with several gym and other facilities inside. Once you go into the front door, you go up the stairs and the dry bar is in the very back, just look for their yellow signature color. The person who served me was very nice and competent from what I could see. My biggest disappointment was that after I made it to my event (The rain had cleared up by then and the weather was perfect) My curls did not stay up at all. This location was nearly double what I pay for blowouts and it was extremely disappointing to not have the curls last that day. I had specifically asked for a style that would last for one to two days and he used a generous amount of hairspray but it's still did not work. I will not be coming back for that reason.

Brie is the best to ever do it! I have very long, thick hair and Brie blew out my hair so effortlessly. My curls lasted for days!l and it never dropped. She knows how to blow out cultural hair. Other stylists can a learn a thing or 2 from her. She is the actual best and the only reason I go to dry bar.Service: Blowouts

I had a morning appointment to get my hair done for an event. I waited for a half hour before I had to leave because I knew I would not make it to the event if I waited any longer. I had driven over a half hour to get to Drybar, so I ended up wasting an hour and a half. I rushed home and went to the event with my hair air dried. It was very disappointing and stressful. While I was waiting at Drybar, there was no communication about how late they were running or even acknowledgement that people were waiting. When I told the receptionist I was going to leave, she only said I wouldn't be charged. She didn't say if I stayed another five minutes or ten minutes, they would be able to take me. There was also no apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. If you have a special event, go somewhere that's more reliable, like Blo in Greenvale. Worst experience at a Drybar.Service: Blowdry

I usually go to this location but today I was more than impressed - Ariel did my hair and not only was she extremely thorough when washing but her attention to detail when blow drying and straightening my hair was top tier. I’ve never been happier with how my hair was done. I will absolutely be booking here again!!!Services: Blowouts

If I could give zero stars I would. I don't know why they hire people who can't even blow dry hair because that's all they need to do here. One hour and 30 minutes to blow dry hair and not even the way I wanted it. When I asked the desk how long it takes for a blowout they told me 25 minutes. I asked for a bouncy blow out and this is straight and flat. This is a waste of time. I could do a better job and I am not a professional. OH AND IF YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER THEY WONT SPEAK TO YOU. YOU HAVE TO EMAIL THEM. this place would rather you pay for dissatisfied service then keep a customer it's appalling. They rather take $45 for an awful blowout then have a customer for life. It's so sad.

my stylist took me 40 minutes late and no apology. I have a wedding I need to be at today and my moms waiting in the car and now I am going to be late, very rude. Dry bar is not what it used to be at alllll. Why are their subpar blowouts almost $60 now? The blowouts comes out okkk (I feel like I can do just as good of a job with my beach waver at home) and the service is very very mediocre considering their pricing is the same as a high end NYC boutique where they offer real service and have experienced stylists. They used to offer coffee, wine, and champagne when the blowouts were $40-45 and when they werent a franchise but when I asked the front desk for a coffee the girl looked at me like I had 12 heads and was honestly kind of rude and talked about me to her coworker when I walked away. If you're going to raise your prices at least offer better service and more experienced stylists. And they have a sign in there that says "given our sUpEr lOw prices we recommend tipping $20" LMAO.

I am lucky to have any of my extensions still in. I had to ask my stylist two times to stop pulling so hard. Unfortunately, it wasn't great service or experience.

It was quick and efficient. They took me on time and it didn't even take an hour to do my hair. The only bad side is parking. It's packed and I kept going in circles for a while

HIDEOUS - do not use especially if you have someplace to go the same day/ I made an appt a week or two in advance . They called me SAME day ten minutes before service ( 8:50 AM on sunday) - saying they had to push back appt 45 minutes- well that is not going to work- I even asked for a most junior person or a shampooer to do blow dry ...the person just kept repeating the same words: "we had a call out" - ..well that isnt my problem.I should have researched prior and I see bad reviews and low rating on Google reviews and yelp.

I never ever post a bad review... My feeling is that I do not want to hurt a small business and only post my favorites. I have made an exception in this instance. This is a Hideously run salon... I made an appointment at least a week in advance for 9 am blowout on Sunday-(due to a large event I had to attend in NYC ) got a call 10 minutes BEFORE service saying they be running late 45 MINUTES - (who knows if it would be ever longer)...the person calling just kept repeating same story : " we got a callout", like 4 times ...I asked for a junior person or even someone just learning or a shampooer to do it- she continued to repeat story and not apologize. AWFUL for a service industry business. My opinion try if you just need for a nice hair for the day BUT NOT FOR AN EVENT. Now I must scramble on a Sunday morning to find a salon with an open appt within next 5-15 minutes.

The girl who did my hair did a nice job so this review isn't towards her or the staff there but more towards the owner. I used to go to the Woodbury location until they closed. My overall experience at the Roslyn location was not good... When I book an appointment at drybar I expect them to use their products as I love when my hair has that "drybar smell" when I leave. However the stylists there had to use tresemme shampoo, conditioner and hairspray because they were out of dry as brand products. They even had to dilute tresemme shampoo to make it stretch enough to shampoo my hair. I was not given a discount for this and I booked my appointment with the liquid glass treatment which they were low on and didn't have enough in the bottle to spray my whole head. When finished I prefer the money maker hairspray and sparkling soda shine spray which they had neither of and had to use tresemme hairspray. This is highly unprofessional and the owner needs to ensure their salon is stocked with products. As the only drybar on Long Island if you have enough people coming in to run out of product then you should have enough $ to keep the salon stocked. I will not be returning.
