The corporate greed is too much!Usually I have never had any problem with Capital One Bank, and I bank with them exclusively.Today I am really upset for how they handle their promotions, CDs and customers all together. Last year I have opened an 11 months CD with 5% return, which was going to expire on 1st of February 2024. So, last December I have paid a visit to a brick and mortar branch in NY. The staff is lovely, and Salma as usual helped me out. I have told her about the approaching expiration of my CD, and she advertised the new promotional rate of 5.25% /12 months CD.Gratefully I have opened a smaller amount CD locked at 5.25, and then we decided I will lock and roll my old CD in the new rate, starting with 1st of February 2024. I left the branch so happy and thankful.Today, 1st of March, I have checked my older CD, just to find out (to my big surprise!) that it is locked in the same 5% rate. I have called the center, to find out that the 5.25% return promotion was available until 8th of January. Since my CD was expiring at the end of the month, the "locked" rate didn't apply.I am very upset and frustrated. Will start shopping around for another bank. I do not trust Capital One any longer. This greedy attitude toward their valuable customers will catch-up with them.

This bank has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life! I arrived today at this branch at 11:55 AM at their drive-through window, which said that they were open today until 12 noon. The shade was already down, meaning that there was no one to help. I proceeded to go into the bank and tried to open the doors, but they were already locked. I looked at my iPhone, which said 11:56 AM. I knocked on the door and saw at least three employees inside. Two of them had keys in their hands and looked like they were going to come to the door to unlock it for me, since it wasn’t yet 12 noon. Then they proceeded to completely ignore me! I kept waiting, thinking that they were finishing up a transaction or two, but that wasn’t the case. I looked at my iPhone again, which read 11:57 AM. I knocked on the door again. The employees completely ignored me again! I waited there in the area where the ATM machine is and thought they’re still finishing up their transactions that they’re working on. Not the case! I knocked again on the door seven times. One teller finally looked up at me, pointed to her watch and shook her head. I pointed to MY watch and shook MY head, meaning that it’s not 12 noon yet! I stood there until 11:59 AM and nothing…. This branch doesn’t care about their customers whatsoever! I’ve had problems in the past at their drive-through window, where they make you wait forever for assistance. As I said, this place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life.Do yourself a favor: either take your money out of this bank, or don’t bother to put your money in this bank.

Lady set in the middle window today was the worst teller I ever dealt with in my last 50 years banking experience. I presented my identification US passport, personal capitalone check, signed in front, back and signature on my passport she asked 3 times of my SS, phone # address ??? I asked if I could help after 17 minutes she was still looking puzzled then she said checking my signature because it looks a little off all that time she didn't even looked at my passport. After all that she said "I can not help you go stand on line for another teller because i was rude because i kept asking her what's taking so long. So i stood on line and waited! The next teller was a gentleman he finished the transaction in 3 minutes. 32 minutes to cash a personal check from my checking acct. Good job! Capitalone spend millions $ on ads perhaps better spend more time for training teller.

I had the worst customer service at the Roslyn branch. I came in to make a deposit into my account inorder to get a bonus. The bank was like a ghost town with no one but few tellers there and no branch manager or other account representatives. I talked with Wendy B who said she never heard of this offer and as far as she knew I needed to open a new account. I told her that was not what the email said and offered to show her on my phone but she said she could not touch it. She said if I made the deposit, she could not guarantee I would get the bonus. She also said I had to do everything on the app. The email said fund deposits must come from outside bank and did not specify how the funds are deposited. She was arguing with me and clearly wasted my time as she did not know the offers her bank has. I asked to speak to manager Katelyn who was not there and only comes 2 days a week. Needless to say, I did not make the deposit and most likely will be closing all my accounts at Capital One. There are many other banks out there who will appreciate my business.

Ridiculous on a Friday this bank has one f'in teller working ... helllooooo brilliant bank manager people are on their lunch break! Don't bank with capital one they are the worst !!!!!

The service at this bank is poor. Every time I come here I wait and wait. Today, a Saturday, they had two people on staff. The Citibank in Glen Head has 6 or 7.

I came to get information on some accounts with my aunt. We were assisted by Alex Neris, who really was fantastic. He helped us with many different things and got everything done for us. He was efficient, cordial and knowledgeable. I would recommend this branch to anyone, especially to work with Alex, who is management material.

They were rude and unhelpful when i had questions regarding my bank account. They spoke in a very condescending manor. Much better at Carle Place branch.
