“I had a great experience at Lavino in Great Neck. The selection of wines and spirits is thoughtfully curated, with a wide variety that feels both unique and high-quality. The customer service really stood out—the recommendations were spot-on and clearly came from real knowledge and passion. I also loved the atmosphere of the store; the lighting and overall design give it a warm, boutique feel that makes browsing enjoyable. On top of that, the friendly conversation with the owner made the visit feel personal rather than transactional. Definitely a place I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.”
“Lucky to have this place near by. Owner is super friendly and helpful if you need to make a wine choice. Order online most of the time but stop in from time to time. Reasonable pricing and great service has me coming back.”
“Tahli’s has one of the best selections for a liquor store. Their app is so easy to use. They send out promos mostly every week with huge savings. For big discounts, use their mix 6 feature to get 15% off.”

“This has become one of my favorite wine stores. The staffs are always so patient, kind, educational, and helpful. As someone who’s still learning about wine, I really appreciate that they take the time to answer my questions and help me understand different wines without ever making me feel intimidated. They have a great selection and fair prices, and I always enjoy shopping here. Highly recommend!”

“Nice place reasonable price but language barrier. I just feel with the business. Definitely should be able to communicate with each other. Well, that was my only issue”

“Pike’s has been our family’s go-to liquor store for years!!! Whether it’s a birthday, holiday, bbq, or any celebration, we can always count on Pike’s to have exactly what we need.
John and his crew are always friendly, welcoming, and make every visit a pleasant experience. The store is always clean, well organized, and has a huge selection of liquor, wine, and everything you need to get your function started. No matter what you’re looking for, chances are they have it.
Great customer service, great selection, and a business that has been a reliable part of our community for years. My family and I are happy to support Pike’s and I highly recommend stopping by!”

“James Liquor on Merrick Blvd is my go-to spot in Jamaica, Queens! They’ve got one of the best selections around — especially if you love Don Julio tequilas. Super easy to shop in-store or order online with DoorDash or UberEats. Always reliable and well-stocked!”
“Always stocked with the best bottles and the owner is happy to order anything you like for you (and keep it in stock!) I’ve been coming here for years and I’d recommended this place to everyone.”

“Great local liquor store. Owners are usually there to guide you in your choices and offer good recommendations. Good prices, plenty of sales weekly. Clean. Friendly.”
“This liquor store has a good variety of wines and liquors. Prices are generally better than other stores in the area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is parking in the rear of store.”
“Nice selections. This was my go-to before Total Wine opened and Cappy's stopped offering rebate coupons.
I still buy here because they have a two-for-Tuesday program on a limited selection.
2026: recently they offered a digital coupon, and I used it to find sources to attain coupons that can cut the price by as much as 50%.”
“Check my review history, I’ve only ever written three. I’m only writing this bc Diane in this store and the price of bourbon were out of this world. I don’t know what else to say.”

“There has been nothing but the best experiences here at this place. The owner is one of the nicest man, he will greet you when you come in and always ask if you need help. His employees are always so very nice and opening to helping out as well. Every time I look forward to talking with the young people that keep this store up to the best standards there are. Keep on doing a great job!”
“Tremendous selection of the difficult to find beverages that I like to purchase in bulk. Staff are incredibly laid back, kind, patient and helpful. Place reminds me of the Beverage Barns from yesterday. I always stop by - because of how kind they are to me. Very chill and laid back vibe. A+ - Always plenty of easy in and out parking; - They are gracious enough to help you load your vehicle and get you on your way.”
“Place was clean and the workers/owners are courteous and respectful. We didn't buy wine during this check in, but we did in the past. This stop was for lotto which in good to know that they have in this store.”
“We were in search of the warhead beer, but it seemed elusive. To my astonishment, I discovered a beverage store that stocked every available IPA microbrew. The owner was exceptionally helpful, assisting me in locating the specific beer I sought. If you are a beer connoisseur or in pursuit of a rare brew, this is the place to visit.”
“New Hyde Park Wine and Liquor has a great collection. They have many kinds of wine and spirits at good prices. The store is neat and easy to walk around. Staff are polite and help you find what you need. Good place for shopping.”
“Back in Franklin Square to see family . I met Karen in my store and promised to visit her store. I was very impressed. Everyone was super friendly and they helped me with everything I needed for a great Father’s Day BBQ.
Thank you Karen and everyone at K & W Liquors!

“I've always sworn by Garden City Wines & Spirits, but after today, I'll never shop anywhere else.
It was pouring rain, and I somehow dropped my purse outside their store without realizing it. Instead of just holding onto it and hoping I'd come back, the owner actually rode his bicycle to my house to personally return it.
Acts of kindness like this are incredibly rare these days. Thank you so much for going above and beyond—it meant more than you know. Good karma always comes back around, and I truly hope yours does. You've earned a customer for life!🫶🏼”

“Stopped by for sweet vermouth, and the gentleman who helped me was very informative and had great recommendations. I also really liked the variety of cordials they carry. My local liquor store doesn't have nearly as much of a selection, so I'll definitely be back to try one”
