So happy to have discovered Lisa and her studio. She has great energy and a contagious spirit. I loved everything about her workout. She really cares about each person’s individual needs. It felt like a custom workout just for me!

London Barre classes are an absolute necessity in my life! I started taking classes with owner and master instructor Lisa Mozo about four years ago shortly after London Barre opened. From the very start, Lisa made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe to be myself and to start to build my mind-body connection that continues to evolve to this day. Lisa’s immense knowledge of the body and the science that drives the artistic London Barre technique is evident in every movement in class so that each moment brings growth. Not only do I get a full body physical workout in every class, I also get an hour full of smiles and laughs thanks to Lisa’s bright energy, passion, and sense of humor. Whether in person or live on video, Lisa keeps classes at a small size and is thus able to provide personalized instruction and feedback to all clients. Classes offer an excellent balance of fun and challenge, and the strength I see and feel as a result will always keep me coming back to London Barre for more!

I strongly recommend taking Lisa's classes at London Barre whether you are new or experienced to barre exercises. Lisa is very passionate, well-trained, and fun! I always get a great workout from her class, and I feel exhilarated and strong. I also like the small class size and individual attention unlike many other barre studios nearby. Lisa makes her zoom classes just as engaging and challenging. Two thumbs up for London Barre and Lisa!

London Barre is so much more than a fitness studio - its a community and a mindset. I have been attending classes at London Barre for a few years and I cannot say enough good things about it.At the core of London Barre is Lisa who is a shining light. Lisa treats each participant like family making sure not only that their form is correct but that they are happy and comfortable. The method really meets you where you are and helps you improve your overall wellness. Throughout the pandemic Lisa has been teaching both on Zoom and outdoors and these classes have really formed a likeminded community. London Barre is really a hidden gem of our Long Island community.

I’ve been doing barre workouts for over 10 years and barre is the only type of workout I’ve consistently been able to participate in, even through pregnancy and postpartum. London Barre is particularly great because Lisa, the owner/instructor, is really focused on alignment and diligently corrects form throughout class. She has taught me lessons about posture that I am able to apply to day to day life which has proved to be extremely beneficial. Do not feel intimidated, it’s for all ages and levels of ability. Classes are small and intimate and always accompanied by a great playlist. You will leave class feeling stretched and energized through Lisa’s infectious positivity.

Lisa’s attention to each individual makes London Barre a stand out. She is a passionate instructor and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Her classes are fun, exhilarating and a breath of fresh air. Her lessons extend beyond the class, as she teaches the benefits of free movement, stretching, good posture and proper breathing in every day life. Her classes are good for the body and even better for the soul.

Lisa Mozo’s London Barre class, what a discovery! Having tried out a number of online exercise classes during the pandemic, participating in this class was so refreshing. Lisa presents a whole different approach to fitness and bodywork with movements that use the whole body. One senses the influence of dance and can’t help but be motivated by Lisa’s unfailing energy and humour, and her ability, without losing a beat, to communicate corrections of our posture or moves.I wished I lived closer to be able to participate in classes once they start up again in the London Barre studio.

Some things are just meant to be. I always wanted to try a barre class but wasn't sure if they were right for me. Watching videos from other barre studios always made me think no thanks, not for me. So four years ago as I was pulling into the parking lot at the Waterfront at Roslyn complex, I noticed there was a new name on the outside of the building. What is London Barre I thought? Could this barre studio be different? I had to know. It was pure serendipity that I found Lisa, the owner and instructor extraordinaire of London Barre in her beautiful new boutique studio even though it would be several weeks before the official opening. It was just my incredible luck that Lisa just happened to be in her sleek new studio that day. After a quick chat I had a feeling this studio could be different. And as they say, the rest is history. My first class was a challenge but with Lisa's encouragement and talent for teaching, she inspired me to persevere. The class was beautifully designed. The music perfectly chosen. The studio so pretty and comfortable. The classes are challenging but results come quickly. I've never felt stronger. With rotating routines, boredom never sets in. Lisa has a great sense of humor! Exercise is rarely fun but at London Barre the laughs keep coming. Classes are small with great personalized instruction. No matter your age or level of fitness, you will fit right in. After four years, I can now honestly say, yes, barre classes are right for me but only at the best LI barre studio, London Barre.

Lisa is amazing!! Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious. She creates a motivating and therapeutic environment for her clients making sure to monitor each client’s progress without being invasive. The workouts have enough repetition to be familiar but at the same time they are each unique to keep you mind and body challenged. I leave class feeling invigorated each time!

London Barre is an effective technique and owner and instructor Lisa Mozo is an amazing teacher. I have very tight IT bands from biking and running. The exercises Lisa walks us through focus on targeted movements that stretch and strengthen specific muscle groups to increase flexibility and enhance range of motion.The result: less pain and an overall feeling of body realignment. Thanks Lisa!

You know that movie, The Beach, where Leonardo DiCaprio discovers this awesome beach that no one knows about and then somehow the map gets out and everything changes..Well, I found a treasure and hesitated writing this review but change is why people go to exercise classes and after choosing London Barre as ground zero for my personal transformation, I am so excited about the results, I just have to share.First of all, the location is great. It is practically under the via duct in Roslyn. I usually arrive early, park facing the water and appreciate how quiet and pretty it looks. Easy free parking with a view!Lisa's studio is so comfortable, classy and absolutely spotless. A happy space to be in. The exercise routine is tough and challenging with lots of room to grow and learn in it and the classes are small, not more than 10 people. I like that.Most of all, I am so pleased that the effort I put in to attending classes is paying off! My body feels together. I really noticed a difference one day walking up the subway stairs. I felt muscles lifting me up effortlessly around the sides of my hips which I never knew I had or felt before. That was my first testimonial!Anyone who wants to tune in to their body and help it help you, this is the place!

What can I say about Lisa and her London Barre studio? No amount of praise can truly capture how lucky and blessed I feel to have found her. I am a fairly healthy, naturally thin woman with no prior physical activity in any capacity (I promise, I’m not showing off). After many years of (passively) thinking about strength training, I came across London Barre after a happenstance google search back in May. Took me about two months to finally attend my first class but I haven’t looked back since. The first couple of weeks were difficult to say the least. I went from never having done anything, to working every muscle in my body. However, I refused to give up, and powered through. It’s been four months and I feel transformed! I actually have muscle tone! I feel strong and so energetic. If it wasn’t for Lisa and her commitment to her students, I don’t think I would have come this far. Lisa is so genuinely sweet and so full of positive energy. You see off the bat just how passionate she is and how much she loves what she does, and helping others reach their goals. She gives her undivided attention to each and every person, and makes sure we are using the proper muscles and taking full advantage of every move. The more you learn each move and the deeper you work the muscles, the more sore and better you’ll feel! I never thought I’d love that feeling but I now feel incomplete without it. Lisa is not only an expert, but she is approachable and makes you feel comfortable. That is a quality that’s difficult to find. I look forward to continuing my work with her and am excited to see my progress in the coming months (and years!) Attend one class at London Barre, and I can confidently say, you’ll be hooked!

This place is awesome! If you are looking to get in shape and tone your body this is the best work out! The owner is very friendly and welcoming. I strongly advise anyone to try!
