Reply : to business
I booked through Expedia I was not able to speak to someone at the hotel as I had to leave for work and was running late. I checked out at 8:50 contacted Expedia this case was escalated 3 times they reached out to the hotel on behalf of me the day of. I was told the hotel refuse to assist and help in any nature. As I brought this issue to your attention now directly and had such a horrible experience what would you be able to do as a business? For your Hilton member customer since I have already checked out other than back track and state I did not bring it to your attention as I had to leave for work and reached out to the company I booked it from. Would you be willing to issue me a refund or what solution do you have to offer ? As Expedia who reached out and spoke to the manager 3 times says the hotel refuses any solution or offer

We stayed at this hotel for my son's wedding weekend - had 35 rooms of friends and family. The Roslyn assisted with a dinner, for 70 people, the night before the wedding and did a phenomenal job. They also assisted with a breakfast, the day after the wedding, for 80 people, also did a phenomenal job. Food was excellent for both events and service was exceptional. They couldn't do enough for us and everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend this hotel and their staff.

While the hotel initially seemed pleasant, I encountered several issues during my stay. I was informed of a $50 security deposit, which was refunded at check-out. However, I later received a notification from my credit card company stating an additional charge of $135.79 had been applied to my account.
When I contacted Lydia, a front desk representative, to understand the reason for this charge, she explained it was due to a small blood stain on the top sheet. Unfortunately, instead of showing understanding or empathy, Lydia repeatedly referred to the stain as "damage" and insisted that it justified such a high fee.
Her response felt dismissive and unprofessional, as she failed to acknowledge the natural and unavoidable nature of the situation (I was on my menstrual cycle during my stay). I fully acknowledge the presence of a small stain, but I have never encountered a situation where such a minor issue resulted in such a substantial charge. Rather than providing a calm and polite explanation, Lydia's tone and attitude left me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. As a guest, I expect a higher level of professionalism and courtesy when addressing concerns, which I did not receive.
Additionally, I noticed an unexpected charge of $3.26 for a bottle of water, despite having already paid the same amount in cash at check-out. This added to my confusion and frustration, as I thought the bill had been fully settled.
Overall, my experience was disappointing. I feel that the hotel's policies regarding additional charges were not clearly communicated, leading to unnecessary confusion. Given my experience, I would recommend that future guests ensure they are fully aware of the hotel's policies before booking. I hope this feedback helps improve the level of service and communication for future visitors.

Nice spacious rooms. A few minor issues with the fireplace and the bathroom but they were taken care of.

This hotel earns a hygge level of negative 5.
The experience was deeply disappointing, definitely not the typical Tapestry Collection experience. The hotel’s photos are completely misleading and fail to reflect reality. Closet doors were hanging off their hinges, the front door was poorly aligned, and the room was stripped down and outdated. The bedding felt cheap, and the two thin, flimsy bath towels resembled something you’d find in a bargain store.
To make matters worse, entering the lobby felt like stepping into the unsettling hallway scene from The Shining—a clear sign of a long-forgotten conference hotel.
Room service was an absolute mess, with only one overwhelmed employee trying to manage the entire kitchen. The only redeeming quality, and the sole reason for awarding even one star, was the friendly and hardworking housekeeping staff.

For this hotel that costs almost $400 a night, it’s not worth it. Everything’s outdated and yes maybe the idea is to recreate coastal Victorian vibe but the details that matter actually are sub par. First floor rooms are partially below ground level, with window looking out to mulched shrubs. There isn’t enough sink counter space, a very tiny glass shelf next to a pedestal sink is not big enough for your toiletries. The stand up shower was updated with splash tiles but sloppy grout work just makes it so unappealing. The shower is separated by a flimsy shower curtain akin to
Locker room showers. All light switches in the room are upside down, there’s not an exhaust fan in the bathroom, the hook on the back of the door is about to fall off. The air conditioner is loud when it turns on.
The reception staff in the lobby don’t greet you, the sitting room has a hodge podge of candelabra chandeliers and sconces and posh velvet seating but there’s an ATM and a microwave! La Quinta hotels are better appointed and more modern than this Hilton acquisition.

Great location for me personally, and reasonably priced. However I do feel they try to put off a luxurious hotel vibe but the rooms just aren't up to snuff and the onsite restaurant although good, is over priced. NO FREE COFFEE (except for the awful Kurig in the rooms, mine didn't even work 🙃) beds are comfortable and staff is awesome! I will be back becuase of the first 2 reasons mentioned
Rooms: Comfy beds and windows that actually open.
Food and drinks: Restaurant food is good, overpriced, and slow service, but other wise nice.

Was told I received an upgrade before checking in. First room spelled like cat pee so I requested a switch. The first room was definitely NOT an upgrade, it was small and old. New room was nicer with updated bathroom but still smelled bad, more musty than pee. The gym was extremely tiny, only 4 machines and it looks like it used to be an office. Staff was not that friendly either. Called because I left an item and was told they couldn’t find it, would follow up and never did. “Harbor view” rooms have no view and are just on the quieter side of the busy street. The restaurant and room service is also outrageously priced. Drawers did not stay closed. Outlets were loose or did not work. They didn’t even erase the pencil numbers on the new tiles in the “upgraded” bathrooms. This is a “luxury” Hilton hotel but I would not stay here again.

Very clean, very nice atmosphere and location. The bar was a little pricey, not from N.Y. Visiting for a funeral.
Rooms: Very clean

The Roslyn Hotel is an absolute delight!
One of the standout features is the incredible on-site restaurant. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making every meal feel like a special treat. Whether it’s breakfast or dinner, the dining experience here is top-notch.
But what really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, is hardworking, friendly, and genuinely cares about making your stay perfect. Their service is impeccable, always ready to help with a smile.
If you’re looking for a place with charm, great food, and excellent service, The Roslyn Hotel is the place to be. Definitely will be back with all my friends and family for another stay!

First room smelled like cat piss, had a worm on the floor, sheets were stained and dirty. Rooms need to be completely remodeled. AC condensate lines and dripping. Smells like mold and the room feels very damp and dirty. Disgusting, would never stay here ever again. Sent videos of room conditions to Hilton corporate because to charge 200 a night for rooms like that is not right. Yikes

I recently photographed a wedding at the Roslyn Hotel, and it was the perfect setting for the getting ready photos and the couple’s first look. The hotel’s rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, providing the ideal backdrop for capturing intimate, candid moments. The natural light and elegant design made it easy to create stunning images that the couple will cherish forever. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything went smoothly. I highly recommend the Roslyn Hotel for anyone looking for a charming, picturesque venue for their special day! - Christine Kozak Photography

This hotel has an old boutique type vibe with modern style. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and rooms were clean. Only bad thing about the rooms was the mattress. It was old springy mattresses that were really low to the ground. Haven’t seen a hotel with those type mattresses In awhile. The restaurant on premise is cool but there is way better places to eat just a walk down the road. I would stay here again though.
Rooms: Horrible mattresses. Everything else was good.
Walkability: You can walk 2 min down the road to a lot of shops and food.
