Both times, the repairs were completed so that the car looked like it had never been damaged, and the work was done quickly given the extent of the damage. The first time, I just went ahead and had the repairs done, but the second time, I followed Gina's advice, and it was much easier and I did not even have to come out of pocket for the deductible thanks to her.
