The Rye YMCA is a wonderful place with a positive and supportive environment. It is a nice, clean, and well-equipped facility with modern equipment and lots of natural light. The staff are consistently described as amazing, incredibly helpful, kind, friendly, patient, and accommodating. The Y offers countless options and programs for everyone, young and old, and is exceptional for families. Members appreciate the high-quality childcare, including the outstanding ELC program with caring teachers, and helpful child watch services. There are great fitness studios, pickleball, and many activities. A minor note is that some classes listed as "Pilates" are not traditional, focusing more on other exercises. A few members have also noted unhygienic sauna use. The Y is considered a worthy cause as it offers financial aid to anyone in need.
Great facilities and pricing but the parking situation is a nightmare in itself.

I mainly use the fitness room and many people don't put the weights away making for a frustrating experience.Since the staff doesn't address the issue, it perpetuates with regular members not wanting to be the only ones putting their weights away and new members adopting the bad habits they see. It's sad.

The Rye Y is a wonderful place full of helpful staff. Always a positive and supportive environment. Countless options for young and old to workout and be part of their community.
