Pasa, charla y camina. Aprenderás algo nuevo.

A good little museum in town. It's not very large, but it can keep you occupied for a good hour. It's a nice place to cool off in the summer after walking the town. They have artifacts and you can spend time reading about certain things, taking pictures and asking questions. The museum is small, but it's expected in a small town.I went alone, so I wouldn't go back alone, it's one of those things, you've seen it once, you don't need to go back. If one of my friends wanted to go, I definitely would go with them.

Loved the entire museum, especially the current exhibit on influential women of Sag Harbor. The museum is small but packed with interesting information, so allow time to read and consider.

I really love everything about this museum especially their current show where they showcased student artwork from South Africa! Additionally I really enjoyed exploring all of the amazingly preserved relics that speak volumes of the history of Sag Harbor. The staff were also extremely welcoming, especially Jen’s knowledge of the different relics and town’s diverse history!I will definitely venture here again when I visit Long Island and highly recommend you explore everything this museum has to offer!

It's a nice town. Not very diverse. The history museum was small and interesting. Consequently, they had a large picture of a black "Whaler". He seems significant, but his name wasn't listed on his picture and the people who represent the museum also had no idea. Not a very diverse town.

Lots of historical things to see in the village and surrounding areas. An English settlement when the Dutch still held New Amsterdam.

Excellent educational experience. I learned so much about whaling that I had never known. It was so interesting to learn how seamen made their living many years ago. It has been more than 5 years since I visited but I would definitely go back and do recommend it.

This is a good little museum about whaling in the historic village of Sag Harbor in the Hamptons area of Long Island, New York State. There was one room devoted to a temporary exhibit on Graham Wilson, who the curator said lived in the village. I’m a fan of the history, so it was worth the $6 senior admission. However, traveling companion did not go inside and he would have been bored. It’s not exactly kid friendly.

$8.00 well spent. Great information regarding Sag Harbour and the whaling industry. An array of artifacts from the 1830s to 1920s. Well worth a visit.
