Buyer beware, research before you buy products made by this company. I have three new PTAC units made by ISLANDAIRE and are now in use for the first cooling season. The noise level is very high and the controls are 'testy' at best. If you appreciate sleep you will not want these in your bedroom!

Unit fails multiple times a year. Mainly in the winter and weather is under 40 degrees. 2 out of 3 of my home units broke at the same time and won’t produce any heat. And the wait for an igniter replacement is 4-8 weeks. This happened last winter as well. Terrible quality. Stay away from this

I ordered an islandaire unit and one of there fancy wireless thermostats. The unit heats my entire garage no problem and all of the controls are easily accessible from my phone.
