While I love my new (to me) car, I was not terribly happy with my experience. I probably wouldn't have bought the car if it wasn't one of only two beige/beige combination K5's available for sale at the time in a 500 mile radius. I expressed concern about some deep scratches on the car that Chad assured me could be taken care of before I brought the car home. Somewhat unsurprisingly, the scratches were still there when I came to take delivery. Chad told me he'd "have the paint shipped to me" because they were out of it at the dealership. 3 months later, no paint, no communication. I am not in any way surprised, but I certainly wouldn't take any promises from this dealership seriously in the future. Love the car, will not return to this dealership.

Every sales person and member of the staff team were beyond helpful, courteous, accommodating and professional. We would ABSOLUTELY buy another car from Smithtown Kia in the future! My husband was in a bad car accident where his previous car was totaled. He needed a car ASAP. Our purchase was quick and smooth. We spent a week car shopping at numerous different car dealerships. I have to say, the professionalism here was what made our decision to purchase from Smithtown Kia. We had such a great experience here, in our unfortunate situation losing our vehicle in an accident.. My husband loves his new Sportage!

Having to buy a new car can be somewhat challenging. However, Chad from Smithtown Kia couldn’t have made the process any easier. I knew going in to the dealership what model Kia I was looking for and a good idea of the sticker price. I had a strict budget, considering the car I was trading in to Kia was underwater. Chad offered me a fair price on my trade-in. At no time did Chad ever try to challenge me to increase my price point of a vehicle. I ended up financing the vehicle through Kia, which was again a very seamless process. Chad, knew from the being I was not going to be purchasing any upgrades for the vehicle. Chad relayed that information to the finance manager before I sat down with him to finalize the purchase. The finance manager as well didn’t pressure me with any sales tactics. All in all it was the easiest experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. I would definitely recommend Chad when purchasing a Kia.

Leased a new 2023 Kia Sportage. It has had 2 recalls, rotors cut under 10,000 miles, and engine issues that they tell me nothing is wrong. Less than 6 months of having the car, it shut off while I was driving on an expressway. Fortunately no one was hurt or killed. It was a faulty fuel injector. Recently the car shut off on me again, while I was driving it. It was another faulty fuel injector. The car is clearly dangerous. I have reached out many times to Kia Corporate and my safety concerns have blatantly been ignored. When leasing or purchasing a car, I suggest you look at the reviews from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration.Nhtsa.org

I recently visited the Smithtown KIA service center for a state inspection, and my experience left me completely dissatisfied and frustrated. I'm writing this review to share my disappointment with their services and practices.During my visit, I was informed that my air filter needed to be replaced at a cost of $89.99. This news took me by surprise because I had just changed the air filter a few months prior. I expressed my skepticism and told them that I could handle changing the filter myself. Little did I know what I would discover when I got home.To my astonishment, when I attempted to replace the air filter at home, I found it to be in a pristine condition - not dirty or in need of replacement at all. It became painfully clear that the KIA service center had used a dirty filter to deceive me into unnecessary and costly maintenance.This kind of deceitful practice is both unethical and unprofessional. Trust is crucial in the auto service industry, and this experience has severely eroded my confidence in the KIA service center. I am deeply disappointed that a reputable company like KIA would allow such dishonesty to occur at one of their service centers.I strongly advise anyone considering Smithtown KIA's services to exercise caution and be vigilant. It's disappointing to see a business resort to such unethical tactics to make a quick buck. In the future, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, where I can trust that the service I receive is both honest and reliable.

We came to Smithtown after having a poor experience at another Kia dealership. So, we were pretty pessimistic. But our salesman - Aashray - was such a pleasure to work with! He turned the whole thing around. He was genuinely kind, listened to my needs and concerns for purchasing a car, never pressured me during the entire process, and even gave me his personal cell in case I needed anything. The entire staff seemed friendly and had a great sense of humor - the whole environment just felt fun, comfortable, and relaxed. I'm also very impressed by the maintenance offer that Smithtown gives - LIFETIME oil changes, NY inspections, and free car washes with service, as well as a 10% discount on all parts and service (as well as some other things). It's absolutely worth the 30 minute drive to work with Smithtown!

I never have to wait to speak with a service advisor. The waiting area is clean and has phone chargers. Everyone is nice and I don't ever feel like I'm being forced to do any work I don't really need. The work is done right and I don't need to go back immediately after my appointment because the check engine light is on or something else is wrong, which I've experienced in the past with other service departments at other dealerships. If you have a Kia, I would definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here.

This is a great dealership. All the staff are super friendly, they have Wi-Fi, a TV in the waiting area along w bagels and coffee and a charging station for your phone. I got a great deal on my lease with free oil changes and inspections and updates for anti-theft. Never had any problems with the car in the two and a half years I’ve had it.

Bought my car here 8 months ago. Was a good sales experience. Had my first service today. The team was amazing. 1st class service. Cleaned out the car and got a free car wash.I drive almost an hour to get here vs a similar dealer 15 minutes away and will continue to do so because the customer experience is so great.

I called up for a quote on a 2023 plug in hybrid sportage and was told $600 a month with $3900 down and not even 1000 miles a month (10k year).That is hilarious!!!! That was the base price and I'm sure it will be a lot higher after all their fees and taxes. What kind of car do they think this is lol.

Just got home from purchasing my new Sorento. I had the pleasure of working with Tom Watson, whose calm demeanor was unlike any other car salesman I’ve dealt with in the past. I did my research prior to coming in and we reached a deal I felt was fair market value for the car I wanted. Coming out of a lease with negative equity, Rich Liquori was also able to work numbers, so I was able to finance the amount I felt comfortable with. Overall I am very satisfied and would certainly return for my next purchase.
