As someone who's been in a lot of automobile accidents, I can't say enough great things about my experience at this Lee Myles location. This is hands down the best body shop I've ever taken my vehicle to. Mario and his crew did a terrific job of keeping me updated throughout the entire repair process. Not only did they fix all of my vehicle issues, they kept me updated throughout the entire process and finished the job in a timely fashion. My friends and family will now be using this Lee Myles location from this day forward!

So my boy works out near this Lee myles. I live in flushing. So my boy recommends them. Drove out n dropped for a transmission to Mario and Richie. Done the next week. Went n picked it up and car was running great. Had a little problem w the car after a month. Called Mario. He had a tow w/in an hour get my car in flushing n had it taken back to the shop. Next day, my car was ready! Went out n picked it up. No charge These guys are professionals all the way. Highly recommended

A truly honest auto repair shop that did a great job on my Jeep. I discovered this place by accident. I brought my Jeep to Mavis for an oil change & NYS inspection. They told me my car passed but there is a loose transmission hose that is leaking fluid. Mavis doesn't work on transmissions but there is a Lee Myles down the road, great bunch of guys I'm told. I bring my Jeep in and speak with Mario. I told him there is a cracked transmission hose. I tell him I need this Jeep to be rock solid for the winter so please order the hose. The next day I received a call from Richie. He tells me the hose is in but he recommends a tranny filter service. They also noticed the lift kit I had installed has too much lift and there are driveshaft spacers needed that will correct the problem, they'll take care of it as well. The next day I get a call, they found something else that needs attention. I live close so I swung by the shop. I now have a comfort level with Richie, he shows me the valve cover gasket is starting to leak and since this Jeep is mission critical it should be replaced while the car is in the shop. Then he show me the tailpipe is also on the cusp. I tell Richie make this car rock solid, take your time and get this Jeep running like a top. I paid the bill, jumped in the Jeep and drove off. To all the mechanics that worked on my Jeep, it is running and driving amazing. Thank you

Mario is a gentleman. Great guy, fair pricing, knowledge staff. Someone you can trust to go the extra mile for you. I've been bringing all of my vehicles to Lee Myles in St. James.

New transmission lasted a year and 3 months only driving the car 3500 miles and was told there was nothing they would do! Asked them to stand by their work and they replied that's what they are standing by! SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT DO BUSINESS!!!!!!!

Mario has had our car for 14 days & still no indication of what's wrong. Six days ago he told us his 'computer' guy was coming today to determine the problem. Guy never showed up!!! Unbelievable poor communication for a business. We had to keep calling to find out the status of our car. And they didn't give us the courtesy of a return call. Will never recommend this Lee Myles business.

After stating it would only take 2 days to make a repair, I didn't see my car for 7 days; no communication as to why it wasn't ready on the agreed upon due date. When I called one day after the due date to find out why it still wasn't done the excuse was "the mechanic hurt his back and called in sick". When asked why another mechanic couldn't finish the job job the response led me to believe that the manager feels the rest of his mechanics are incompetent. When I received my car back after 7 days I found the radio/clock display all scratched up and some sort of greasy fluid all over the driver side carpet, conveniently hidden under the curtesy paper floor mat. I now discovered that the panel and carpeting that on the passenger side seat, that tucks into center console isn't reinstalled properly Incompetent & Sloppy.

After committing to 2 days to fix an A/C issue, I finally got my car back 7 days later. No communication - I had to call them and chase them down for answers as to why my car did was not able to be repaired within their 2 day commitment - which was because "the mechanic called out sick". When asked why another mechanic could not fulfill the 2 day commitment, it was as if the manager (Dave) felt his other mechanics were not smart enough to complete the job. On the 6th day other part was deemed "broken" raising suspicion as to why this "broken" part wasn't found earlier - within the last 5 days they had it. Upon receiving the car back 7 days later and approximately $300 more than quoted in price, I found greasy spill on the driver's side carpeting and incomplete reinstallation of interior on passenger side. If you are looking for someone honest, customer friendly & respectful of your vehicle Look elsewhere because this place lacks all these qualities.

I can honestly say that I totally trust my mechanic. That's not something most people, especially women, can say. Mario Castro, the owner of St James Lee Myles, is an honest, good man and an excellent mechanic. I've gone to him and tried to imitate sounds my car was making, drawn pictures to try to replicate the icon I saw on the dashboard, and more. He takes the time to check everything out. He's honest in telling me when nothing is wrong and reasonable in pricing when a repair is necessary. There is no one else that I trust or would recommend. He's the best!
