“Really cool place, excellent service, great layout, and great finds. They specifically do not have any 'junk' type antiques, everything seems like it'll to be someone's liking. Be sure to check out their places in Newburgh as well---especially if you're into the Military History game like me.”
“Hands down, my favorite store in Millbrook. I have so many pieces of furniture, decorative accents and bits and bobs from this place. An absolute gem with the nicest owner!! Love this store! ?”
“Stopping here is more than shopping for a piece of the past. The proprietors and staff are family folk who are warm and welcoming. We make this a regular stop when we are in the area. We get to acquire some cool old stuff at reasonable prices. Best of all, we come away more educated and entertained. It’s just laid back front porch pleasant.”
“Been going for 30 plus years! The couple who own and run the Barn are so pleasant and helpful!...They have a little bit of everything...well...maybe a bit more than everything!...So glad covid's over!”
“I had such a good time buying my new watch this weekend. The owner, Bruce, and his daughter were very generous with their time. As we were leaving, my partner said it’s probably the nicest jewelry store he’s ever been in and I agreed. I especially appreciated that I was able to buy a watch that I loved for under $200. They have a generous expanse of price points and beautiful, interesting pieces that would fit anyone’s budget and aesthetic inclinations.⌚️??”
“LOVE this place! Always a fun find... GORGE antique linens, the coolest vintage tools and brass objects. Super friendly people. I live nearby and pop in often. im shocked a the lower star reviews. Never been my experience.”

“I really enjoyed my stop here. As with most antique shops in the Hudson Valley, the prices are higher than some other regions but I also found them to be better than many other shops in the region. Of course, it differs from vendor to vendor, too.
Items are well-displayed and there were some truly beautiful furniture pieces. If you're looking for high quality, gently loved furnishings, this is the place to go.”
“Absolute Auction & Realty saved us time, energy, & money. Do not hesitate to use their services, but be sure to read ALL the contracts & ask questions. We used the all or nothing auction and realty services which helped us liquidate a home and possessions of a family household after we tried our own cleanup, FB marketplace, Craigslist, & thrift stores. Would not hesitate to call Phil & company in the future, our interactions were friendly, informative, very fair and timely. Your time is precious, use Absolute's services!”

“Great spot in the middle of Rhinebeck. The Beekman is full of suprizes and an historic destination unto itself. Food was ok (meh) and service in the Tavern was a but pretentious. Atmosphere was great.”
“I visited this store last week and had an amazing experience! It is very quaint and nice inside, with lots to explore and see! The employee, Nora, was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had! The customer service was amazing, and there was so much to see! Can’t go wrong with a stop here!”
“This is one of my favorite places to vintage shop and treasure hunt. I find incredible items for myself, clients, and rare gifts for my friends and family.
When you arrive you’ll be greeted by a wonderful labyrinth of objects for all the potential projects I wish I had more time for. But regardless of not being able to contribute time to every project I want to do, this place is inspiring and at the same time a beautiful time capsule and time travel experience.
Kevin is incredibly kind, helpful, and gives great deals on your pieces which will make you feel amazing as you walk away with all your newfound treasures. Don’t expect items to have price tags because it’s such a large collection it would take too long to do that, plus you just don’t know when something will be sold or not — the nature of this place is to enjoy the hunt for your item while seeing things you’ve never seen before.
Kevin has done an exceptional job at consolidating certain items in their rooms to make it easier on the customers looking for something specific like brass drawer handles, cast iron pans, vintage tin boxes, tools, plate sets, lamps, and vintage colored bottles. I recommend to all who visit to embrace the orderly chaos of beautiful items in their current state — it’s truly a wabi sabi treasure hunting journey. Part of this shopping experience is to not think about time and instead witness the natural passage of time in the items being showcased which is what wabi sabi is all about.
Definitely an experience for the senses, where your nostalgia will be triggered and creativity can be inspired. Thank you Kevin! Will be visiting soon.”
