NorthWind Fine Arts Gallery is a 5-star artist cooperative gallery in the Adirondacks, located in Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. It is run by the artists, all of whom live in the Adirondack Park or vicinity, and there is always one working in the gallery. The work is all original and from these wonderfully talented local artists. The art includes wood turnings, oil, watercolor, jewelry, fused glass, pencil graphite, carvings, and photography. Styles are diverse, featuring realistic, abstract, and mixed media works like nature drawings, landscapes, still lifes, and local scenery. This well-curated space is a favorite to visit. The artists are nice folks, welcoming and happy to chat about their work, which beautifully captures the vibe and beauty of the North-country. It is a must-see in the area, full of beauty and superb quality work. It is a great place to find a special gift, card, or a lovely piece to celebrate, though visitors often note they never leave empty-handed.

What a wonderful gallery in Saranac Lake . We purchased a lovely piece of fusion glass by Angela Nephew last summer. There are lots of beautiful paintings by local artists as well as wooden objects.Make your way there when you visit the North Country!
