Towing in Saranac Lake, NY

“the highest recommendations!I had a flat tire, I was in the Aldi parking lot, called Madison, within 5 minutes a man arrived (as I later realized it was the owner, Mike) and pumped up the tire so that I could follow him and get to the garage. Mechanic Zach did a great job on my tire. prompt, professional and respectful, Thanks !”

“Was told by my mechanic that I would need a new catalytic converter soon as it was shot. Gave me an estimate of $1,650. Wasn’t a rush so we took it on our trip up to Fish Creek. On the way up, I heard a pop and the car got very loud. Was referred by a friend to bring it to Twin D Automotive in Saranac Lake. They repaired my car in record time. No new catalytic converter was needed and it just needed the hardware replaced and a gasket replaced. So $145.00 and all is well. Car sounds great and we were back on the road in no time. Can’t say enough about these guys! Awesome job!”

“During a recent trip to Saranac Lake, our camper axle unexpectedly broke, leaving us stranded and unsure where to turn. A DEC officer kindly pointed us toward nearby repair options, as we weren’t familiar with any local mechanics. By grace, Madden’s Garage was just one minute away.

Despite being extremely busy, the team at Madden’s Garage was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. Mr. Madden went above and beyond—allowing us to keep our disabled camper on his property while a replacement axle was shipped all the way from the Rockwood plant in Indiana.

Once the part arrived, the repairs were completed quickly and at a more-than-reasonable cost. We were never charged a storage fee, and every interaction was marked by professionalism and kindness.

Madden’s Garage turned a stressful situation into a reminder of how generous and supportive people can be. We are grateful for their help. Cheers to Madden's Garage from Leta L. Pasternak, a clinical educator, patient advocate, and author of Leonardo DaVinci's Painted Secret!”
