Comedy Works is a hidden gem with a gorgeous retro/underground vibe. The interior is 10/10, featuring a vehicle used as decor behind the bar and eclectic couches that make it the perfect photo op. The venue is intimate, tucked in the middle of Broadway in Saratoga. Tickets are usually $20–$25, with a great open mic scene. The staff is incredibly welcoming and cheerful. However, the food and drinks are a let down. Most of the menu is not available, with terrible quality choices like cold nachos, a cheese cube and Ritz crackers plate, and a microwaved pretzel. The sound system was lousy and bench seats were uncomfortable. There is a 2 drink minimum, but the waitress only came to take orders once. The comedians were fun, but some shows had comedians who sucked. The venue was closed when one person went by, but they hope to be back. Despite minor flaws, many had a blast and would go again.
Nice venue only gripes are the sound system was lousy and the bench seat I was on was uncomfortable both of these are minor flaws which, if the comedians had actually been funny, I wouldn't have cared. Unfortunately they sucked, but I did really like the intimacy of the venue. I will be back.

A fun comedy cellar with tasty food. Real comedians, not just open mic talent. Entrance rooms has plenty of seating.

The show was great! There were signs all over the place that said 2 drink minimum, but the waitress only came and took orders once
