When we couldn't get out to the venue ourselves, Sam met our family on site instead. They all came away saying how comfortable she made them feel, which mattered more to us than almost anything else. The part we did not expect: as we got closer, Sam went back through the entire proposal with us and found real ways to hold our original budget without cutting anything we cared about.
