I am a middle aged LGB woman who has experienced group harassment at this Hannaford. In the past, I have been satisfied with Hannaford and written positive reviews of the stores and their customer service. I am very disappointed that this store participates in community-oriented harassment. The people engaging in this activity have no idea the background of those they harass. I was involved in a harassment legal situation at a place of employment, after which this sort of harassment has become a serious problem. All I can say is - those who participate in this are perpetuating lies about good people. Shame on this store.

I cannot order online because the webform does not recognize my town. I have sent Customer Service 2 emails and have yet to receive a response.

Last week I went to the hannaford on Weibel Avenue and half of the employees were wearing
Their masks under the nose. That was improved a bit this week but several customers wore
No masks at all. An employee told me they are not allowed to require masks by corporate
order. I’ve been shopping there for years, but I’m done with that store.

I have been shopping at Hannaford since they opened in Saratoga. There has always been issues with personnel. Maybe it is just my way of thinking, I was brought up believing in manners, respect, etc. I visited the store a week ago, obeyed the face mask rule, also wore disposable gloves, went the correct way up the aisles. I got a bit confused where to stand in line, been recovering from a stroke and 1st time out by myself in 5 months. Cashier sort of sapped at me where to stand. She could have said it in a nicer tone. Then she started to talk, I couldn't hear, front end manager said "less taking, more working." I was shocked, mad and embarrassed for this cashier. It isn't WHAT she said, but how she said it. Went to Target a few days later and none of this snappiness happened. They seemed happy to see me!

Store is not enforcing NYS law to wear masks during Coronavirus crisis. No signs on the door, no enforcement in the store. A customer not wearing a mask was allowed to shop- store manager did nothing. Come on Hannaford. It's the law, and it's unfair to other customers that you allow this behavior and endanger the lives of others. I will be shopping elsewhere until this is resolved.

Reminds me of my hometown store! Clean, well lit, lots of selection. They didn't offer to scan a sales card which is super annoying for a visitor. Just give me the sale price without hoop jumping.

Heading to the customer service desk to get a money order. A customer service representative is standing at the desk yet tells me to go over into the grocery line because it's "all customer service" and refused to do the money order. So I have to stand in the line behind five people. Then she walks away. Then another customer comes to the customer service line and stand there for sometime. She finally asked the cashier to help her and the cashier says she has to come in line as well. So this woman starts to yell. Right away... A manager comes over to help her. Yet five minutes earlier nobody could do a money order for me. Why do you have a customer service desk when nobody is willing to work it? And why would you combine a grocery line with a customer service line? Horrible

Hannaford is my go to grocery store, I especially take full advantage of ordering online for curbside pick up. But this particular store marks things up higher in price than other Hannafords in the area, and an experience I had over this past weekend really GROSSED me out. I went in just to pick up some fruit for my toddler, and every single pack of strawberries was covered in white/grey mold. I'm not exaggerating, all of them. I brought this to the attention of the manager/produce manager, and instead of apologizing - she actually was incredibly rude and defensive and told me "these things happen, what do you expect??" And walked away shaking her head at me with an attitude.. I'm sorry but I've never seen that in another grocery store and that's not acceptable, especially if you expect people to pay for your product, thats disgusting. I think I'll be skipping this store from now on.
