Lyrical is an expansive one floor basement book shop in snazzy Saratoga Springs. Some rooms are like old bank vaults with the doors still in place. The staff up front greet every one that stops in. The stacks are eclectic with science, art, poetry, cooking, birding, more art, chemistry, old books, song books, musical notes and literature. The staff is polite, friendly, helpful and always up and about organizing stuff! This is a very serious 'old books' shop. If you want a Steven King book - go to some newer place for that. Review: 5

This is a great little book store with tons and tons of used books new and old at great prices. Due to the immense amount of books it can be hard to find specific books but it is still very fun to browse.

Always an awesome stop. About 15 rooms (no exaggeration) of old books. If you're a collector or just want to poke around, great place to do so

Spent over an hour there pouring over books, talking to customers and employees, and learning more about horses (and other things) than I would have ever expected from a book store. Well worth a visit.

Wow! A cool used bookstore with what feels like never-ending rooms. There is a huge selection of many different categories. There is something for everyone here. They even have old prints and maps. There is also a huge section dedicated to horse racing. They have many rare and signed editions for sale and in a vault in the basement. Great place to find well-priced books for kids.

Love getting lost here. The rooms just keep on going, but the real amazing area is the pile of $2 books in the front. I discovered a few books in that stack that I now consider some of my favorites.

Walked in for the first time with friends and I was not disappointed! Upon the book lined hallways there were some great Authors and Titles. Found a box set of a most loved teen classic at an unbelievable price! Cannot wait to go back and add to our library!

It was splendid to start here on a little tour of bookstores between VT and MI! So twisty, you could get lost here forever. So many little gems of rooms. One of my favorites was the room of botanical prints from the 19th-early 20th centuries- both originals and reproductions.

Rooms upon rooms of books to explore, something for everyone! It's an old building so not super accessible and could use better lighting in a few rooms. But I could spend hours here exploring

Visited this book store while exploring Saratoga Springs and fell absolutely in love. The young woman at the front desk was a doll to speak with and even let me take photos with my camera - thank you so much! You can tell there is a lot of history that exists between the store's walls... and especially on them. Definitely recommend this gem to anyone who is looking for a book store experience that has a more local/small business vibe and not so corporate.

Amazing experience. Was walking past and once you get inside you're thrown into a world full of books. It was a great experience overall, and the selection was incredible. It's an experience you won't forget, and I'm extremely excited to go back!

Book and library nerds must stop here! This unique bookstore keeps on going with so many rooms, packers with unique and diverse books in every corner and room. A museum in its own ways, enjoy!

A fantastical place where one can get lost for hours looking through all the rooms of varying books through the generations. The vast variety of some even dating back over 200 years ago. Definitely a sight to behold.

Saw this bookstore on tik tok, unfortunately so have a lot of other people. Go on a week day when the screeching and squawking of teenagers isn't quite so distracting. It was fun navigating the maze of rooms, and looking through some of their older selections. The organization system was present, if very hard to follow. Prices are also not ever in the same place from section to section, so that was confusing. It's a fun visit as part of a day trip, I don't know as if I would go here when searching for a specific book.

Great Book store. Awesome selection. Wish I would have had time to look at the rare books in the vault.
