purchased cabinets, delivery showed up days early in the morning, no call, just showed up. Told the drive I need time to clear space in the garage. He said not his problem, call Home Depot, he can leave them in the driveway. I picked up my phone, he became belligerent, swearing, threatening. I spoke to Patty.. 3 days of talking with Patty, got no information. she file a complaint on the driver, but could not tell me with who, what the outcome was, nothing. it took 3 days to get the remaining cabinets delivered, requested to talk to a manager, never got called back.

I’ll never step foot in Home Depot again. Person in store couldn’t figure out how to give me 5 year warranty that it online store said I could get in store. I asked to speak with mngr, employee REFUSED to contact mngr.. went up front, they figured it out and had someone bring the freezer and put in my car. (Drove to Saratoga as my local Home Depot didn’t have in stock). Get home, after getting it out I see the part I couldn’t see in car, box was very damaged -there’s no way person who put in my car didn’t see it and he never informed me there was any damage-. Carry upstairs, go to open and see huge dent and damaged screws where box was damaged… mngr offered discount for new one(I declined, too many problems, don’t trust the store now) but I had to drive all way back to Saratoga to return… most stores let you take to any of their stores. When I went back and got refund I questioned it. Just realized they still owe me &80 since they didn’t bother to refund the protection plan I bought on same receipt. This is why I stick to Lowes. Never have these issues there… unbelievable. I better not have to drive back to get the rest of my mobet.… Home Depot- NEVER AGAIN!!

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

I don't recommend anything about this home depot...prepaid in store for 10 1/4 inch plywood panels and was told the 1st it will be there for pickup and I come in to pickup and none....explain to the woman nicely that I've been inconvenienced as a customer and would like at least a partial refund especially waiting another week and she gives me attitude and says "well I can refund the total and you can buy it somewhere else" not proper customer service at all..unacceptable

Home Depot is like a very large hardware store in my area for those who may not know what this place, it is filled with pretty much anything & everything that you could possibly think of. The only thing it isn't filled with is employee's which is the reason why it lost the star. I was able to find everything I needed, but it was because I had to search up and down each aisle looking through every little nook and cranny trying to find exactly what it was that I was looking for because I did not know this store. They do not have a designated person in one single spot they have people walking around all over the place and they always seem like they're too busy to help you. The store when I went in there did seem well kept, at least for a big Warehouse type of building and there was somebody going through while we were there washing the floors with a for washer which to me was kind of odd in the middle of the day which is a nice slip hazard, but if that's the way the company does their business then, to each their own. I would only ask that they would put more people into their departments, so that they would be able to get more help when people need them. I understand that this is a trying time but, even before covid-19 this was something that they struggled with. Overall though, it is a decent place to get what you need for your workplace, construction job, or home repairs at decent fair prices. So if you feel like there is something on your list that needs to get done this would be an excellent place start looking. Thank you so much for listening.

These people have been holding my refund money for a washing machine for over a month. I chose to cancel the order and yet it still arrived at my house I returned it because it was broken anyway and they still delivered a new one when I had put in a cancellation. Refused the new one still no refund a month later! I don't even have enough money for food and gas to get to work now this week because of them and Maytag never in 1 million years when I order something online from this company again. They apparently have no clue what they are doing or they are some mind screwing pieces of s****

As a shareholder I’m appalled at the way this store treats their customers. The Home Depot is my first and only choice in home improvement stores but this store makes me question that. Lazy, entitled, and rude staff.

I would like to post an ATTA Boy for Madison Squires at the Saratoga store. We were shopping for Quartz counter top and no one was in that dept. Madison walked over from appliances and offered to help. He said he was some what familiar with countertops and would try to help us thru the process. We had a 5 piece layout sketch. He went to the computer and we had the whole process including a sink, quartz, special HD financing, 20% off and a $100 gift card. Madison also politely answered all questions from us and appliance folks. What a pleasant experience!Bob and Carol C

I have been a home depot shopper for years. untill yesterday!. I am a dissabled iraq war veteran and I have been given a military discount as long as I've been shopping there. i went to use my discount yesterday and they denied me saying they changed their policy so now only active duty military is offered a discount. veterans wether they are service connected dissability, combat, or just HONORABLY discharged are now only offered a discount on veterans day and a few other federal holidays. they just lost a very longtime customer. and considering I work for contractors they also will be loosing many other customers along with me.

I normally go to Lowe's for a reason... I purchased flooring from Home Depot in Queensbury where the wound up charging me for 5 boxes of flooring instead of the 4 I purchased. I brought my receipt to the Saratoga store where the manager was absolutely rude. Basically accusing me of trying to steal from them because he couldn't review cameras of this... so I wound up going up to Queensbury where they did not question me and refunded me the money right away. This manager is a pompous j****

I have a samsung washing machine I purchased from Home Depot on October 23rd of last year. I recently have been having a lot of problems with it. I have an extended warranty that we purchased when the machine was new. When I called your support line on 9/19/2019. I was told there is nothing they can do to help since the machine is under factory warranty. When I call Samsung (also on 9/19/2019) they told me that the machine is out of warranty and they will not service it.

This is your typical orange big box store. I am not usually in Saratoga but when I am in the area and realize I need a can of black spray paint, some 1/4-20 hardware, a plastic bucket, or a tarp (all things I have bought here in the past) this place is great. It opens early, which is when I am usually looking for stuff and the Tractor Supply nearby hasn't opened yet. The staff are friendly and I can get in and out quick. Will my experiences match yours? Maybe, maybe not. But, if you have ever been to ANY Home Depot stores you will find this one is similar. Perhaps not arranged similar (they never seem to be), but close enough.

My husband and I went in to Home Depot this Sunday, June 9th, to purchase new home items (Sander, pressure washer, drill set...etc) coming to about $1,000. Great! We were happy to get the ball rolling on our new home we closed on the week before. I had set up $1,200 to be used through Affirm, which I have never had a problem with (lower interest rate than most credit cards). Well, because of how this is set up, I transferred the money to Apple Pay. Affirm advertised they offered services specifically to Home Depot, but guess what? Nope, not through an app. Brooke, who helped us through this absolutely embarrassing hour, offered a different payment method.......nope! Again turned down all while knowing we had the funds to make the purchase. This was all due to a flaw on Affirm's end. So at this point, we were causing chaos behind us since it was such a busy weekend. Every time the payment would not go through, Brooke had to walk out to our cart and hand scan everything. I had to get on my phone and try to figure out what was going on with my promised funds. My husband and I finally said "let's just pay for it with what we have on us."...2 credit cards that I knew had enough to cover the costs. Well, after the newest scan on all our items, which was not an easy task, my first card covered $600 and my second card (with the higher interest rate) was to cover the rest. Guess what!? Second one was a decline. Yup! Not because the funds weren't there, but because the new mortgage on my credit report froze up all my AMEX accounts!!! At this point, we had already heard smart comments from customers waiting in line behind us and saw the dirty looks from people who just thought we didn't have our ****** together. In the end, we made our purchases but this was honestly the most painful and embarrassing buying experience I have ever had. Of no fault of Home Depot! Brooke was absolutely wonderful. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I would hire her in a second. I had a few moments where I had to step back from the situation to figure out what was going on since I had everything set up prior to buying everything. Never once did we get an attitude from Brooke as we did from the people stuck behind us. She was extremely kind and apathetic to our embarrassing situation. Thank you Brooke!
