“When driving to NYC from Vermont with friends, our check engine light came on and we lost the ability to accelerate. They thought they might be able to turn the car around in 24 hours and looked at it immediately as we arrived. Fortunately it was an easy fix and we were back on the road in under an hour. “Jeff has been servicing my cars for a solid decade now, and I can tell you with 100% confidence that you won’t find a better, more honest mechanic in the Hudson Valley. I had been burned by a half dozen mechanics before begrudgingly taking my father’s advice to see his mechanic — I should have listened sooner, but I’m a stubborn daughter.
Ever since I came to my senses, I’ve been sending friends and strangers to Jeff; people new in town, people that have wanted to break up with their previous mechanics etc. Everybody is happy with Jeff, not only because he’s fair (I swear, sometimes he’s even more than fair but I won’t complain about that ?) and skilled at what he does, but he’s also just a good guy! It’s refreshing, as a woman who doesn’t know much about cars to deal with someone friendly and not sleazy. I never feel like I’m getting the run around from Jeff.
A word of warning: Jeff is nearly impossible to get on the phone, but don’t let that discourage you! I almost always have to drive to the shop to talk to him or schedule a service appointment, but I’d drive across state lines to bring my car to Jeff if I had to. I see it as a sign of a good mechanic — being too busy working on cars to answer the phone means this guy is doing something right! Regardless of how busy Jeff is, he always fits me in in a timely manner, and on the occasions that I’ve needed my car back in working order he always gets me back to rolling on four wheels quickly.
Five stars all the way, I cannot recommend Import Enterprise enough!!”

“These guys are so honest and kind. The battery on my truck died and after a friend jumped it, they told me to head straight to AutoZone without turning the truck off, and that AutoZone would sell me a battery & replace it. Well, they sold me a battery then said they weren't comfortable swapping them out. They recommended a nearby shop but, once I drove there, that shop refused to install someone else's battery and wanted to charge me over $700 which seemed really fishy.So I was stuck with a $200 battery and a truck I couldn't turn off. Gave someone else a call and they recommended E. Mower & Son. These mechanics couldn't have been nicer. They saw the bind I was in and took care of me right away at a more-than-reasonable price. I was so blown away and I can't recommend this place enough!”
