I have been really pleased with the customer service and car service that I have received at Especially Swedish. The staff is responsive and repairs are done quickly. I wouldn't trust my Volvo to anyone else.

Excellent service and honest repair shop that stands behind its work. My 19 yo daughter is away at school with a 2016 Volvo XC90 with110,000k. She had a break down and they were excellent to work with. As a parent far away I felt like they took good care of my kid and were fair in their assessment of the work that needed to be done. Can’t say enough about Mike and the people that work with him.Services: General repairs & maintenance

This place was a true wonder to find! They were actively helpful in addressing the issue with my 1999 Volvo, and proferred a realistic and eminently affordable solution while I was there. At no point did I feel unheard or uneasy. I recommend most heartily.

I was speaking to Mike over the phone about a 1988 Volvo 740. He said that he would not want to work on 240’s but I could bring mine in. It needs a lot of work and I wanted to start with a leak and the bulb detector light. A day after I dropped off the car Mike called me and told me that his mechanic had looked at the car and because of a possible domino effect he would not want to work on it. He said the sun roof would not open and therefore it was not possible to work on the leak. I had to pay $54 to have him release the car. When I came I saw that a piece of broken interior panel was placed in the center console. Mike had not mentioned that to me but I know that the interior is very brittle. I opened the sun roof and drove back to brooklyn. It was a valuable lesson about setting boundaries and sincerity.

Wonderful experience. I took my ailing old Volvo in for a checkup. They have a system where you can make appointments for either drop-off-your-car or wait for it. Their diagnostics and recommendations were spot on. Good price for the checkup. They took the time to explain everything to me. It was great! My car, unfortunately, was too far gone and they did not recommend spending the money to save it (very ethical of them). But when I get another car, I definitely will be back! Highly recommended!
