Inquiring Mind Bookstore & Cafe is a quaint and interesting gem of a bookstore with an eclectic decor and relaxed atmosphere. It offers a great and extensive selection of books, including graphic novels, as well as a small selection of records and CDs. The store features a great little children's area and some of the best couches in town for spending time with a book. As a cafe, it provides a small offering of drinks, like enjoyable coffee and cappuccino, and baked goods. The staff is consistently noted as very nice, friendly, accommodating, and sweet, providing impressive customer service. The business also hosts unique literary events, such as poetry features. It is a great spot to browse books and grab a coffee, and is worth a stop-in.
I ordered a book from them this past Wednesday and it arrived at my home in Virginia three days later. I’ve never received that level of service anywhere else. Many thanks!
