Where to start? Been waiting for another supplier for over two months to deliver an audio adapter. Kept getting the typicial-for-these-days response of, next week, next week.... Finally cancelled order and found these guys at Markertek. They were honest and transparent about having doubts regarding my request for delivery within 2 weeks. They managed to move things around and my order went out within 24 hrs of ordering the part. I understand the ongoing supply/demand issues being faced by distributors all over the continent. But I believe it's better to be honest about delivery delays, rather than attempt to string a client along, which invariably results in an unhappy client.
Again, kudos to Markertek as well as the person I dealt with, Eddie!!!

We purchased a brand new unit from them, it arrived defective and they won’t take it back. They sold me a used defective unit. Stay away from this company!!!

I have bought various supplies from Markertek for years--mainly cables for audio and video (coax, specialized cables, XLR connectors, etc.). Recently I made an order and 1 XLR connector was missing from the shippment. Oh well, mistakes happen.I reached out about the missing item and received a reply from a human (Michael) within a day. He actually asked if the item was time sensitive. Funny thing is--it was. I was leaving for a trip in 2 days and needed to make an extra XLR to TRS cable. I told him that there was some time sensitivity but it wasn't a big deal (it wasn't). Well he shipped it next day air!Look, it would not have been a big deal to ship it ground. They are in UPS zone 1 or 2 so it might have arrived on time by ground. Also this wasn't a big order--maybe $60 in total and the Neutrik connector was maybe $6? But he shipped it next day air anyway.That kind of service makes you a life long customer and is worth writing a review.

I have worked many vendors over the decades. I have managed rental houses and been a consultant for years recommend purchases for production companies around the US. I would highly recommend NOT making any purchases with Markertek! First, you better read the fine print on their website. Many of their items may fall under “Covid Policy”, no returns! I purchased a headset ($330) that doesn’t work well. I wanted to exchange for another headset. Nope, can’t return the headset and I’m left with a faulty product. Also, if you are on the west coast, costumer service goes home 5pm eastern standard time. It took, a couple of tries to get any responds over two days. There was no effort to help resolve the issue.

Top notch products and service!I recently ordered some Switchcraft XLR connectors, and one was missing the internal strain relief. I sent them an email about it, and they immediately shipped one to me.

Went through this company to get a custom panel created and asked plenty of questions before I spent my money about specs of drilling through my wall and how I can make a flush fit for the custom connector. I was recommended another tool which cost me 80$ and after drilling through my soundproof booth nothing fits. There was a miscommunication but I got the connector working and its high quality so I am not complaining. I would use them again for custom panels If I needed them.

Most folks only write a review when the service is very good or very bad. You can include me in that category. But Markertek deserves some gratitude. I was looking for a very specific (and not easy to find) cable and spotted a 10-foot one online from Markertek. Here's the sequence of events (all on the same day): 12:45pm - placed the order 12:54pm - Tom Moretti contacts me to say they're out of stock but can send me a 15-foot cable for no additional cost (thanks Tom!). Told him that'd be great. 5:19pm - receive shipping confirmation How's that for service?!! Plus the cable works great and solved my problem.

I could have ordered my new Zoom Q8 camera anywhere on line - but only one place was local. The first time I called I knew the salesman. That gave me huge trust in the advice and technical support I received. They were attentive, polite and local, while having the same price as everyone else. Now I use their catalogue as a wish list and order all my video & audio needs from them. The good news - you don't have to be local to buy from them and get the service I got.

Ordered Grass Valley Edius yesterday at 10AM. Product is a software download. In MOST cases software purchases by download are available immediately...that is when dealing with organized companies. Most are automated. Pay and download immateriality. After an hour no download available. The website says, "The link of this software download is generated by the brand manufacturer. Please allow processing time usually within 24 hours."Withing 24 hours is a pretty big window, 1 hour? 5 hours? it's now over 22 hours and no download.This doesn't seem very complicated. To my view Markertek hasn't automated their digital delivery system and worse doesn't have digital stock on hand, they're selling a license they don't have possession of. If they had possession of the product I would have had my software yesterday.Every retail business dreams of selling stock they don't own, no costly inventory.Markertek is living that dream, just what are they doing for their slice of the pie?I'm still waiting for my software.Not a happy customer.
